I have 2 maltipoos dog and thanks to Marybeth I learned the technique to pluck my dogs ears hair the right way. It is necesarry because they do grow hair in there, and if you do not pluck it, yeast infections appear overnight!
My groomer comes to my home for my two pups. And I help her. Pups are getting better with her. You inspire me. Thank you
I sure wish my little dog would stand still for that! It’s a struggle every time. But so important. Chronic ear infections cured since we began plucking that hair.

@@candyhunter4262 Yes. I groom her myself, except for the ear plucking. I’ve found a groomer that will do just her ears and nails for me. Every 6-8 weeks. Worth every penny.

I wonder if the ear flush sprayer bottle noise is very loud when it's put in the ear and squeezed. Could maybe a bottle to just pour in the flushing solution be used instead?
Love my Shih Tzu Ears do get stinky.
I can see why this is done, since I have a Standard Poodle, but my vet says that you should not pluck his ears. I do clean them regularly though not sure if I am doing enough.
Depends on your dog, for some it grows to a certain length and stops but for others it just keeps growing longer. Grooming is something you should have your pet introduced to as soon as possible, to get them comfortable with being handled.

Yes. It is not comfortable for sure.. but 100% needed! :) a couple seconds of being uncomfortable for so much relief! Ear infections and even deafness are effects of not plucking ears
