His strength, training, but also his rage, allows him to pick him up much higher than usual. 1:22 and 1:29 Show the exact same thing. The opponent continues to provide too much forward momentum everytime he punches and does not defend the takedown. Mma fighter waits for the punch before going for the takedown everytime. 1:36 Mma fighter was pushed off the ground and pound position last time, so this time he grabs control of the ankle. This makes it much easier for him to swing the legs off to the side, for the fighter to pass the open guard, and achieve side mount position. These are all things you learn in an MMA gym.
