I can explain what happened. Take a look from 2:20. He has 10/74. He fires 2 shots, that leaves him with 8/74. As soon as he fires the third shot and before this third bullet hits anything, he is knocked, essentially cancelling that bullet out. All bullets in transit, fired from a player are nullified if the player is knocked/killed before bullet registers with any object/enemy. This is done to prevent a draw situation. The ammo indicator changed to 7 as soon as he shot it but since the bullet didn't do anything, it was credited back to him upon his next reload after revival.
