The thing is Stacey was young, she saw an injustice and reported it, she wouldn't have known the long term complications for the family. All she saw were con artists out to make a buck and at the time did what she thought was right. There was no malice behind it not like Janine in an act of revenge. Then, she might not have realised why it was wrong especially when kids in the family were involved but it's clear from her face she didn't think of that and at that age, with no life experience without a family back then how was she supposed to get it. You only understand things with age and life experience and at that age she had none so you can't say she's a nasty malicious person. Just because older people got it and understood it, she didn't.

She just wanted the family to get in trouble for breaking the law and exposing a fraudster back then that's what she wanted. At this point there's no way shed realise the full extent that would and could happen but now she's matured and has children herself her whole view points changed

But, you say that however, Stacey never had a lot and she's a parent to 4 (I think) and survives comfortably, on her own with a decent life but Ruby fell back on her dad's inheritance and then brought businesses. Pretty easy to become rich and successful when you have daddies trust fund ay.
