I'm an old sucker (53 yo) who loved electronic ("cosmic") music from the first time I heard it in 1979. I love Tangerine dream an Klaus Schulze (ex-TanDream) for all they are worth. My ladyfriend is very ill at the moment and I've been caring for her and this is a very hard time for me, so thank you very much for giving me this moment of Zen an release. Thanks brother.

About 30 years ago back in Iran I was the first teen to discover them and wow what a life. I mastered their music with a bunch of friends and I can still hear their sounds the moods it brought to my life. I lost their tracks when I ran away from Iran and now I have found the treasure again. Thank you all for posting these tracks.

This is great, but as others have pointed out, you should really update the title to indicate that it's a cover.

So Lucky to of seen them in the early 80's.trpng of course but I remember this song and that they didn't say anything but thank you at the end of the concert! Thais what I remember anyways....
great COVER, by FD Project. If you are new to Tangerine Dream do yourself a favor and also listen to the original... off one of the great live Electronica albums of all time.... "Encore".

This was when Tangerine Dream hit the world and clashes into Moroder disco, the E.guitar make it more psychedelic, I listened for a while a lot the original from Encore, this version have a lot that catched the spirit of it, very close in many ways even the guitar sound still different enough to give interesting life in, your moving pads sounds cool, a true tribute. A real fine job, you can be proud.Do more!
Wow Frank you nailed Edgar's processed guitar tone from the original track! Great sequencing and synths too! I never dreamed I would hear a cover of this some day!
This is an amazing song that brings back good memories. I love Tangerine Dream and alot of their music. My favourites are Too Hot for my Chinchilla, White Clouds, Sun Gate, Towards the Evening Star, The Big Sleep in Search of Hades and Stratosfear.

the guitar is note perfect, hard to tell it's not edgar froese...the background is original arrangement and some of the later guitar, mind you some of the fuzzy guitar is easy to imitate.

@EyeScreamPL Could not have said it better myself. This is "TD" music, but not from "TD". I'm not one for "copy cats", but this is good stuff and original in its own right. Had me good there for a while!

This is fairly old but no where near electronic meditation because that's the first album they made after they were called the one's.😊

Hi NewAgeDreams, you made this track from "encore" from scratch, the theme played on a guitar? sounds very near, but the timing is so different, it is clearly replayed. Nice work , you had too listen to the original a lot, or memory is quite good. Bravo, the Sound is excellent then similar, it's like listen to encore with a whole new remastering and without the crowd. thanks, go on

It's always funny to hear how can fans translate their feelings closest possible to original, but in the end the good at it is often the differences, that make the music slightly different, maybe the sequence is just a little to straight behind, but sound good really nice work , and the guitar moves helps the feel a lot

At almost 60 years of age not only have I followed TD since the start I also had the absolute pleasure of meeting Edgar Froese and I can tell u now he would love this RIP White Ghost
This is a great tribute to this track of encore, psychedelic guitar rides the sequence, funny how the guitar sound effect is close to original, still nice differences that mades this captivating, this is a great work man and I listened a lot to Coldwater Canyon.

Frank you may deserve respect for your ability. BUT any respect you get is canceled out by disrespect you deserve for your DECEPTION in the title.
Musical ability is nought without integrity.
I am completely devoted to the musical art of Tangerine Dream, but i feel no disrespect at all in this tribute. On the contrary, this beautiful version of Coldwater Canyon leaves the spirit of TD completely intact. It would have been more "disrespectful" if Frank Dorittke put his own name in the title. And he also clearly mentions that it is a cover.
***** Lets be honest, it's not about how good or respectful the tribute is, its about clicks. With the title... "Tangerine dream Coldwater Canyon"... it gets 500,000 CLICKS.
With the honest title.... "Cold Water Canyon- Cover".... it would only get 5,000 clicks.
Is he being payed for the clicks? Otherwise i do not see the problem. I agree that the title does not exactly express the content, but i feel no disrespect in that. At the same time i also understand your point: it might have been better to have a title like "Tangerine Dream - Coldwater Canyon (tribute)". I appreciate your good intention, but on the whole, i think this video is a nice promotion of the beautiful musical art of TD.
