Cologne is the largest city on the Rhine.Cologne is a major cultural centre for the Rhineland; it hosts more than 30 museums and hundreds of galleries.
Germany's most visited landmark is Cologne Cathedral. The completion of Germany's largest cathedral was celebrated as a national event on 14 August 1880, 632 years after construction had begun. The celebration was attended by Emperor Wilhelm I. With a height of 157.38 metres (516.3 ft), it was the tallest building in the world for four years until the completion of Washington Monument.
The Hohenzollern Bridge (German: Hohenzollernbrücke) is a bridge crossing the river Rhine, it is only accessible to rail traffic and pedestrian. It is the most heavily used railway bridge in Germany with more than 1,200 trains daily, connecting the Köln Hauptbahnhof and Köln Messe/Deutz stations. Since 2008 people have placed love padlocks on the fence between the footpath and the railway lines.
KölnTriangle (formerly also known as LVR-Turm) is a 103.2 metres (339 ft)[1] tall building in Deutz, Cologne. The top floor (29th) and roof houses a publicly accessible observation deck with panorama views. Entry fees 3.
