I appreciate the feedback, but be careful. Any time price is greater than marginal cost there will be some degree of deadweight loss because the good or service will be under-produced from a firm's point of view and the industry point of view; allocative efficiency will not be achieved. Any time this situation occurs, there will be some deadweight loss.
There's a error in the Mono C there's no deadweight loss it's excess capacity because its not operating at the lowest possible cost so it's inefficient . My Ap Econ teacher searched it in a university to see if he was right and so he was .
#MonopolyTax Monopolistic Competition Is oxymoronic. Monopoly and competition are opposites in terminology ha ha ha... Taking funds from a monopoly and/or busting monopolies into pieces are good for any economy if the funds are paid to existing competition and/or new business start ups. If the monopoly derived funds are eaten by governance then the economy is harmed more than helped as goods become fewer and more expensive.
This is super helpful thank you! You did a really great job breaking it down for someone with *very* limited knowledge of economics principles!
