So I'm gonna share a deeply personal story as Ifeel like I need to share this, because this mod struck a chord within me. When I started watching this video, I thought that I was gonna watch some stupid juvenile mod where Madeline and Theo were swearing at each other a lot, but no. What I got, was a journey that stirred the same feelings and emotions as when I played the game the first time a year ago. I won't get into too much detail with my first time playing, but when I did, it was something that I needed. Lost a friend group through my own fault, and I was at one of the worst points in my life, borderline not wanting to exist anymore. At that time, I was helping my uncle with some yard work, and durring that time, I was an absolute wreck. I was on the constant verge of breaking down and just barely got the work done whist lost in my own head. Alongside some money for my work, he let me pick out two Switch games for my work, and I chose OMORI, and Celeste. Celeste was a game that I needed in my life, and although I had a long way to go, and still do, this game was the foundation for me to start over and try and improve myself instead of wallowing in my own misery. This game... saved my life. And onto this mod. Like I said, even though I expected it to be a generic mod of Madeline and Theo just swearing at each other then forget about it a week later, but I did not expect this story to resignate so deeply within me. So I was not bitter like Ayla was at the start, I was and have always been a super nice and kindhearted person, but still deeply flawed. Something subtle that I noticed right away was that she was super worried about her reputation, and that hit too close to home. from around August 2022 to May 2023, a little after I first played Celeste, I had a Twitter account, and I was unfortunately chronically online. Every other second I was either posting or I was interacting with people. It did not help that before I was forced to deactivate, I had gained a platform of over sixteen thousand followers, just because of my good political and pro trans takes. The one line that is now burned in my memory, was when Lucas asked Ayla "Are you happy?". If you asked me back then, or maybe even now, I would have replied "Oh yeah no, I'm fine and well! Just tired.", but now that I think about it... I don't think I really was happy at that time. Especially as I was putting up with abuse and harassment from several anti trans accounts, with one in particular doxxing me. So all of that, I do not believe I was truly happy, especially with having an addiction to Twitter. In the end, I've noticed that she's stopped really caring about upholding a reputation, but moreso just focusing on happiness and self improvement. With the phone, trust me, with my own personal experience, I have had an abusive ex spread unwholesome photos of me around all over the internet. It absolutley destroys your mental health and is miserable. The other big thing about this was with Alya, her jabs at Ayla, calling her worthless, useless, pathetic, and all the other insults. All of that, while I never said it publically or to my friends at the time, all these words raced round and round my thoughts, and would never shut up, constantly bringing me down. The other part was after the fight, about how they're broken but still together. That phrase pretty much describes what I was going through and it's just. I don't even know, I am stuck on what to say. But all that aside, this mod was one hell of a journey that I am glad I watched. I still have a long way to go with myself, and I am still improving myself with my mental struggles, but even though I don't think I've put it the best in words, Ayla and this mod has been a big inspiration, and even though it's just a mod, I am so glad it exists, and I am glad I somehow managed to stumble upon this video. So the biggest compliment I can give regarding this mod, is not me saying how funny it is, or how interesting it is, but rather how deeply this story has impacted me in ways I cannot describe, and is something that will stick with me for a long time, and it will most certainly be a story that will change me in the long run for the better. Thank you for making this mod, and I hope that several more people will find this and have the same impact on them as it did to me. P.S. good luck in college man! I really recommend playing Celeste! And one my favourite thing in it is that its really easy! After you complete original campaign of Celeste you really should get golden strawberry in farewell. This is very easy and fun!

While I was making Chapter 2 I stumbled upon a folder on my computer that had a bunch of old stuff I wrote that I had forgotten about. This poem was one of them. After cringing horribly at it, I thought it would be funny to just throw it into the mod as an Easter Egg. In retrospect, I shouldn't have picked it, but oh well xD

There's some RNG involved in getting big on RUclips and I've only had two videos that performed well (the other Demonetized Celeste videos)
It's because it's Alya speaking. I made her the "narrator" to keep with the cursed atmosphere of the dialogue mod. I also changed some text in the game menu to look like things she would say, for example, if you look at the guidelines of Assist Mode. :P
I watched this entire thing. Just like the main game, you come away with a lot of value and self reflection. I hope that you know that you are making a difference in people's lives. I am still doing a lot of growing as a person myself, and if i had to encounter a part of me or go through the mirror temple, I'd be so scared of what I'd find in there. But having to go through that is part of becoming better. Introspection is a part of life that can't be avoided. You have to be confronted with the parts of you you don't want to know about that make you sick in order to to get past that part of your life. I didn't really do much laughing, but admittedly I did laugh when she asked if granny knew her social security number and she said "I sure do!" lmfao
It honestly surprises me when people say that this dialogue mod still was a very moving story for them to experience. While that was part of the plan, Im still amazed (and incredibly happy) when people see it as both a comedic and meaningful story. ^^
