Oh what little tips and tricks I can pass on... Well first off you can customize what building are on your hot-bar by opening the build menu hovering your courser over what you want to add and then hit the corresponding number you want it to be on the hot-bar. - also you have a total of 10 hot-bars. Switch between them with CTRL+Scroll (I think) - In regards to the hot-bar there are some things that I feel you don't need to bother with because when building things will automatically be added like whit power lines and conveyors. For gather plants you can just look at one plant press E and hold it and move around and continue collecting plants instead of having to spam E to continually pick up plants. A little trick I have found for when I have to do hand mining of things is to open my inventory while holding E to mine. Once your inventory is open you can then release E and close your inventory and as long as you are still looking at the resource node you will continue mining. The most dreaded sound is the sound of power cutting out. Until you get the next tier of power unlocked you might be struggling with keeping the lights on. True efficiency can't will come with further unlocks and a bit of math. The math starts out easy but can quickly get a bit complicated. Flower petals can be used for fuel but are meant for decorative floor patterns that get applied to foundations. You have made a good start so far with what you have done. Now you just need to scale up and make sure you automate every recipe as it come available. Don''t forget to go out exploring from time to time there are things to find that will make things easier or offer different options for doing things. Good luck on your first factory. Don't worry about how it looks at first as you learn the mechanics of the game the easier it will be to pre-plan your builds to make them looks good and have little or not clipping.

That big creature near the beginning with the long legs that is known as "the bean" alot of players kinda joke that its the safety and efficiency inspector because hes always hanging around the factory 😂 hes harmless but always in the way so i just zap him or throw an explosive at him 😂😂
@AxiomaticCloud that's awesome! He also goes by Mr. Bean as well oh and P.S. stay away from caves and the swamp boime until you have explosives and a rifle and jetpack. Trust me there's a reason for the arachnapobia mode in the settings lol I still get chills after atleast 400 hours of game play lmao
