Iam a first generation American my parents are from Africa,which is the global south,my dad was a foriegn minister for Sierra leone and his consistent complaints in private was the lack of respect for African culture and all culture not part of the west,that why china wins it does not interfere into cultures or systems of government ,also having a voice in the bretton wood instititions,like the world bankb,IMF,and the international criminal court is serious bedrock for resentment,

China is merely imparting what they learnt from their experience of opening up their economy. They copied a lot from Singapore and for years sent thousands of officials to learn from Singaporean systems, while, at the same time, exposed many Chinese students to learn from the Universities in many Western countries. It is a good model, now, to help the Global South.
