Just been for the first time after the "improvements". It looks as though the city council have got an American consultancy firm in or have had jaunts to modern USA theme parks/campuses for ispearation . The planners as usual love their signage it's is on full view here. There are ugly square steel/wood non environmental benches everywhere around the Burrell carpark, some replacing locally made log benches. Excess signage continues around the carpark which is in the Vogue of out of town business park. They seem to want an extra carpark at Haggs Rd serviced by American style by electric busses. Talking of which the bus shelters are airport themed monstrosities one of which ruins the approach to the actual house. For some reason there are some bushes protected from ram raiders by horizontal monolith at the end of a short tarmac drive. May be I am being harsh but it seems to be going the way of the city centre bland international style square steel and concrete ho hum. Those Stalinist blocks around the High St 😱
