Every single dealer at the Hustler is 10/10 excellent, I'm not just saying that, they are all amazing. The 5/5/10 game is the only game that allows running it twice, so it rarely happens, which means it's understandable if sometimes they aren't quite 100% sure if it's just the turn/river or full board etc. Always best to just take 1 second and double check from the dealer's POV imo. Also if you've never seen anyone have to explain how to deal to the dealer, you've probably never played day 1 of the WSOP. It's absolute carnage 🤣
I have always had good experiences with dealers at Hustler. They usually only allow running it twice in the 5/5/10 game so not surprised it took a little coaching. That game usually has a PLO double bomb pot each dealer change, which I love, but the only downside is the time it takes to settle complex pots. Even when I am not in the hand I have had to help sort the pot, but usually the dealers are spot on and it is the players that need time to wrap their head around the outcome. I much prefer that everyone at the table play the bomb pots, but have no issue when someone sits out as I have seen plenty of times someone who rarely plays PLO struggle to understand how their four cards interact with the board or not understand that two of their hole cards need to play, etc.
The KQ hand on the mtone board.. I think a bet out on the turn would've gave you more info. Checking there gives him all the positional power to barrel bluff into you. Just my opinion idk
1:46 choosing not to engage in game selection, even moderately is costing you more EV than I think you realize but also allows you to build stronger reads on your current opponents. I think you should consider some minor game selection tactics for easy +bb/100.
Totally agree that not game selecting is ev negative, but I have seen lots of predatory behavior from regs and think it is also ev negative over the long run. Commerce regs seem particularly bad and that plus the buy-in structure are the two main reasons I do not play there anymore.
Loss counter is a nice feature, but you abandoned it after the Commerce. Not knowing did accentuate the feeling of free fall. Was it more like bungee jumping or skydiving?
Ah, my mistake. I have a question for you, I was listening to you speak on "Upswing Poker Level Up" podcast titled "Preflop sizes that win" and I'm confused. Why do you say to raise small in early/mid position, but rather large in small blind? The reasoning you gave was because you'll usually be out of position postflop, but wouldn't the same be true in small blind? @@garyblackwoodpoker
Bro have you ever sat next to someone who peeks at cards like you do? Its easy to peek at. And your stack doesnt help hide your cards like you think it does either. I know others have said it but long time reg here chiming in as well. Best of luck!
Honestly that KK hand is why you shouldn't show your cards till the end cuz your opponents are animals with no class. You left it open for them to troll you. They either scream when they hit their card or they can slow roll you. Best case scenario is they sit there for 30 seconds looking at the board till hey say your good lol. Just don't show your cards till the end man. If they are your friend or someone you grind against a lot and they show first then show if you want, only scenario.
Would you really be happier as a nit though? Nooo. I think maybe id have more money but its just not me and it took me a long time to be happy with being me. Thats the reason were better. Were not scared to gamble. F the nits 😜

What I noticed that early part of the video, Comerce casino? The cards are so bent. It would appear entire deck is that way. In London you will never get that type of nonsense.
Yes but also in London you’d get banned for rabbit hunting and can’t do anything remotely gambley like PLO double board bomb pots so swings and roundabouts

Don't bluff that guy
welcome to the commerce standard deviation 😅
Sooo Happy to catch up with the earlier ones. You deserve the promoting of the work you're are doing! Happy New Years Eve Sir!!
Happy new year when it comes my man
Really like the way you handled/laughed-off the dealer's mistake in the AKo hand...Gazzy is the man...keep up the good work and great content!
Ya it’s no harm done, people make mistakes. Hate it when dealers get shit for no reason
I had a whole year that went exactly like your session, good work for keeping it together while playing and leaving once you couldn't
Your boys at the table know how delicious your fish & chips will taste. Great content.
Brutal KK hand. After your appearance on HCL you may want to think about folding that pre from now on.
WTF are those screens embedded in the table?
hey gazzy, feel the KQs fold con a Q72ddd is pretty nitty
I think you’re right tbh. Oops.

Day 1 of the wsop I personally met at least 5 dealers who had simply never dealt or played poker before (I was a dealer there)

I’m not sure why that guy was tilting 😂 he called you down with 3rd pair on a board where flushes came in and he wasn’t holding a blocker 😅
Yeah I know, should be the opposite of tilted!!

Slight technical issue that was my fault! It was definitely sky diving as there was no bounce back up

Pretty much yeah, and lots of other worse hands to bluff with!

Extremely harsh and unnecessary. All the dealers are amazing. Some of them are simply a little unfamiliar with running it twice.
