I mean they aren't even Kyosho motor... Electric is just cheapo tbh. I mean there will be so many nylon and plastic parts.

These are just "fancy" versions of the ones you could get in Toys'r'us. I mean these aren't lexan shelled flavour.

Especially the Traxxas Trx-4 bronco is really nice I own one a use it in crawler competitions and fun and games. Awesome truck

It so awesome to see Luna and Atticus grow. It feels like yesterday that Luna was still learning to talk fluently. She was making jokes and she was comfortable around the camera.
When the whole Stay at Home thing first started, I found myself going down a rabbit hole of R/C Mudding Competitions …it’s definitely a thing that people take seriously! Pretty awesome
You might be the only person that wasn’t bored during lockdown
you should see 1/10th scale touring car races. people go so far as to have tire warmers!
I put fpv cameras in all of my RC trucks and I go for a adventure in my backyard
I love seeing matt's kiddos. I too have a daughter and a son the same ages as his. We just had our baby girl 5 months ago. You can tell Matt is a good dad. Seeing the excitement in their faces is the best.
Whoa, look at how big Atticus is! I don't even care about the products I just love when he gets his kids involved cause RC cars are typically geared towards kids so you know it's a good product if both the parent and the child like it
that's what a lot of people say... it can be for kids but the hobby grade ones are more towards adults.

Another cool thing, If you have a 3D printer, you can print accessories, parts, bodies, etc. The community makes a lot of 3D printer files for hobby RC's.

I got a Traxxas. It’s been through a lot. It’s not a crawler though. It’s their older E-Revo. 70+ mph speed. One things for sure, they are TOUGH cars. It’s amazing.
I have an older Stampede myself, I've tossed it around and thrashed it and the only thing that shelved it was a battery going bad. I really need to get that replaced

If you want the best of both worlds, I’d highly recommend the Traxxas Slash. It’s a Baja buggy so it can drive well off-road and if you put street tires on it, it can drive pretty fast on-road too. I’ve been driving R/C’s for years and I love doing it

They have to do a video where they get mini versions of themselves and put them in the RC cars and do like an obstacle race or competition of sorts

RC cars are so much fun. This makes me really want to get some again 🤙
I got back into it a few months ago, do it, rc cars are insane now. I got a WLtoys 124019 with 3 batteries for $198 on Banggood and it does 51km/h out of the box, already getting a new motor and ESC that makes it capable of 110kmh on 3s, there's heaps of spare parts and upgrades. I bought a Nitro too but I spend more time fixing than racing it, fun when it works though.
Go for it. Be careful though.. it’s a money stealer.

Just look for cars that have RTR on them. It means ready to race. You get the receiver that way every time. The thought process is not everyone needs RTR, they may already own a really high end receiver.

Traxxas has been the main genre for a while. The main reason I found them is for their traxxas slash 4x4 running on water. Great company, very expensive though. Glad to see you guys enjoying their products!

The mist pipular are traxxas and arrma but there is other brands that make a lot of good stuff.

Also I love the KIT side of RC, building and painting anything you want, is so fun.
As a person who has dabbled in rc car driving since they were Luna’s age I’m simultaneously jealous, because those are expensive and I have trouble affording them, and am very happy to see someone find their way to something like this.
Oddly enough you're wrong there is a car for any budget. Plus you can buy them used and save money on them just check that they're not discontinued first. I recommend Traxxas because most cars share the same parts and the odds of finding parts are better
@@fcsthememe7987 I agree, but one thing with traxxas is that they run off different batteries than most other brands like axial and you have to have a different charger. But if you are someone who’s starting to get into the hobby, I agree traxxas is a good place to start.
@@Outcast_0-1 Get you a charger that does it all. I have a Venom Pro Duo charger. Charges my EC5 connector arrma Batteries and my traxxas ones plus like 4 other connector types
