I just left the city I lived in for more than 30 years about a week ago. Only about 2 hours north, so not totally gone, but as far as day-to-day, pretty much gone. A much more affordable housing option opened up and I took it. I don't know how you feel about being in SF and how much you miss NYC but what has helped me with the transition is remembering that nothing is permanent. If I want to go back, I absolutely can. Just like you can absolutely go back to NYC if at some future time it makes sense for you. The city will still be there. And I can relate to the anxiety/almost losing your mind. I don't think that makes you crazy. I think it makes you human.
I have never moved across the country like you’ve done a few times… but it’s wild to me that people (content creators) are out living on their own and go home and still have to things, like full bedrooms at their parents house.. I’ve been on my own since I was 16 and my parents couldn’t get rid of my stuff fast enough 😂. Actually yesterday my mom was like “there’s a box with your name on it in the basement, come get it” she said it’s taking up “valuable real estate” 😂😂😂
This is one of the best videos I have seen. Love how real you are and it connects with us also feeling overwhelmed as people often don’t show this on RUclips! X
You’re so real and your videos are so unfiltered in a good way. I love the vibes so much❤ so much love for you and your fiance i really wish you both a greater future ahead in San Francisco 🥰
Hello I'm a new big Fan of your way of vlogging. How's your eye doing? I've been following some well-known RUclipsrs who have had eye surgery, and I asked them about their vision a year after the procedure. It might be a good idea to do a video update since SMILE surgery is becoming quite popular. It would help those considering the surgery to know how your eye has progressed-like whether you're still experiencing dry eyes, poor night vision, or halos around lights. Or has your vision just continued to improve over time?
So are you saying that the 2 of you combined can not afford rent? How are single people all over the country affording it? Why wouldn’t you move to a place where you could afford rent. Do you two work a real job, not just content creators? Yes, I’m seriously asking. I would save your wedding money, and just elope.
@@Cheri94 this convo feels kind of odd now. I have no idea what these nice people were doing in July and August barring what they’ve shown on their video. I sympathise with the stress of moving, and not having access to meds that would really help with that move. I hope they find their feet.
@@waggermamaI actually do also, but moving back to your moms house, take over the back yard for a boxing ring, alby needs to find a job and man up, stop ordering children’s toys online and save for an independent space, I can’t even take theses creators seriously anymore. As a retired ER/RN of 30 years, nobody wants to work anymore, literally everyone wants to be a “influencer” sad world we’re living in.
@@Cheri94 i mean who are we to say what they do or do not do with their money? We see a condensed snippet of their week in a 20-minute video. I say you should keep your opinion to yourself, yeah? Congrats on retirement. I can see u have nothing better to do in your life other than comment on people's videos and inserting your unwarranted opinion lol

I love this :) thank you for sharing! And you're right, change is the only constant so I'm trying to stay open to whatever may come next.

I love how chilled and realistic your vlog is! So impressed with how you're organising your new home!

In previous videos, Wesley has explained that they both got laid off.
