I've heard both ends brother Kieth. The Calvin's side and the Limited foreknowledge of God . I think the question people should ask themselves. Can God know all things and we still have a choice to choose. " Of course " He's God!! We live in time , He lives in Both. He is the author of all things . So in our realm we have choice , and He still knows all things. I'm thankful for the providence BECAUSE He is good , and takes care of us. All things work together. Like, the darkness surrounding Jesus dying on the cross. God's hand was in that darkness but Jesus thought He had been forsaken. Jesus came from the covenant of Boaz and Ruth's marriage.

Hi Keith, I struggle with indifference. I feel a heavy sorrow for people that don't know Jesus but I make up excuses why I shouldn't develop a relationship with them and share the Gospel. I am generally someone who is anxious around the majority of people that don't know me inside and out. I struggle to discipline myself to unwaveringly spend time with God praying and reading his word. I do think about regularly things of God and the times we are living in and that I will have to be prepared to suffer for Christ in the future. I go to church regularly but I am left most services with all these thoughts swimming around in my head that I mentioned above. I have no excuse of ignorance and I understand all the foundational things of Jesus and the Bible. Everytime I try to get a routine going I feel like I am trying to pull myself up by my own bootstraps, I don't experience a flow of grace from God to help me spend time with him but I do experience grace in most other areas of my Christian walk. I think I can't accomplish a meaningful pattern of relationship with God until my mind is single on him. I was a very dysfunctional drug addict until 27 and I'm now 38 and would be seen as a success in terms of the aim of Teen Challenge, although I am not where I want to be in life. Do you have any advice please? Is this an immature thought pattern I have going here? Is grinding out time with God something that is inescapable? I'm open to you being blunt with me.
Dear Pastor Keith: Words cannot do justice to how soothing this is to my soul. Your sermon brought tears to my eyes because of how much God loves us. We serve such a loving a kind Father. I have gone through sufferings that I thought I would avoid. I raised my children with the word of God and yet I have a prodigal. But through all my trials and sufferings, I praise God. I know He loves my child much more than I do, He is working in her life. This trial has taught me to pray more deeply, love Him more fervently, I know he will restore the years the locusts ate away. It makes me cry to see your faithfulness in your time of deep despair. I watched your wife’s funeral and was greatly moved. I am sorry that you have to go through this type of suffering. I am so thankful that you can still praise God through your tears. It makes my cry. I am sorry. Please know that the LORD is using these messages mightily. I just send it to a young girl who lost her mother to suicide when she was 14. She is following the LORD. When I told her about her message, she was eager to hear it. I have sent it to many others. I know one person has listened and was blessed. God bless you and please know he keeps your tears in a bottle. They are precious to Him

I was a very dysfunctional drug addict until 27 and I'm now 38 and would be seen as a success in terms of the aim of Teen Challenge, although I am not where I want to be in life.
Do you have any advice please?
Is this an immature thought pattern I have going here?
Is grinding out time with God something that is inescapable?
I'm open to you being blunt with me.
Dear Pastor Keith: Words cannot do justice to how soothing this is to my soul. Your sermon brought tears to my eyes because of how much God loves us. We serve such a loving a kind Father. I have gone through sufferings that I thought I would avoid. I raised my children with the word of God and yet I have a prodigal. But through all my trials and sufferings, I praise God. I know He loves my child much more than I do, He is working in her life. This trial has taught me to pray more deeply, love Him more fervently, I know he will restore the years the locusts ate away.
It makes me cry to see your faithfulness in your time of deep despair. I watched your wife’s funeral and was greatly moved. I am sorry that you have to go through this type of suffering. I am so thankful that you can still praise God through your tears. It makes my cry. I am sorry.
Please know that the LORD is using these messages mightily. I just send it to a young girl who lost her mother to suicide when she was 14. She is following the LORD. When I told her about her message, she was eager to hear it. I have sent it to many others. I know one person has listened and was blessed. God bless you and please know he keeps your tears in a bottle. They are precious to Him
