I’m self employed and I personally believe in power of life and death of the tongue and whatsoever you loose in the earth is loosed in heaven and whatsoever you bind in heaven shall be bind in. The earth. I have had extreme favor last year. Anything I asked for I. Prayer it happened immediately. The past 8 months I been praying and I seek God diligently but I keep getting no’s and not right now.....when I finally get a yes I get it has to get through this department and this department. I rent pools to teach swim lessons and water aerobics. Idk am I doing something wrong. I been talking to the mountain and I even said by my word i shall have the things I need in Jesus name.

Sort of reminds me about Andrews teaching on Daniel. His first prayer was immediately answered. His second over three weeks wait. Same Daniel, Same God, Same type of prayer... why different results? Demonic influence. Now satan was resisting him in the spiritual realm. We will need to learn to be patient after we have done the will of God - believing patiently. Heb 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Heb 10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Heb 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. So we declare something, like you do already very well, but then we believe it until it appears. Abraham did this 25 yrs. You can plant a seed for a fruit tree, but you may have to wait a while before the fruit show. This is tough. We want immediate results. The reason being is that we are sensual and need external confirmation that God keeps His word. My sister, we all have to overcome in this area. So speak out, then believe what you say WILL come to pass... even if there are NO signs. You can pray for me too - we all need to grow up spiritually. JohnC
That's a good question. I went through a similar situation. I AM going through one now. God was leading me so clearly in the beginning of my walk with Him but then there comes a time when we need to mature in the Lord and learn to trust that He is working behind the scenes even though we don't see it. Pass the season of this test, keep speaking faith, keep praising God as if you're still receiving His favor, because you are. I'd say you're maturing in your journey with the Lord so you're learning about patience, trust, endurance and faith. Just a humble perspective from a fellow believer. It can be frustrating and causes us to wonder if God hears us, does He still care, but remember how much God loves you and He promised to never leave you nor forsake you. Praise will lift your spirit. Responding to your question help to build ME up!!! It ministered to me.
