I just love her. Equality and acceptance is so important to her. She said she was inspired to write this after finding out "Conversion therapy" for Gays is still legal in many places (and she is part of the LGBTQ community as a Bisexual, so it's personal to her too.) None of us need a cure for who we are. She truly is a gift to humanity. And damn, this is catchy. It's been stuck in my head for two days.
Ya know I didn’t think of it that way till now and it makes a lot more sense, I thought it was in general for quirky / “weird” people and like saying to not change yourself and that you are who you are but what you said also makes sense and now I see a greater message

I think this song has potential to hit charts. It's going to be popular on dancefloors. And is is especially well suited for remixes. And that dance routine has TikTok viral potential.

I'm several months late but I have good news
I love the fact that her message was heavily lgbtqia+ and she didn't release the video or song in pride month cause she is not doing it for the publicity,
and it might be inspired by her finding out about the countries that still have conversion therapy, but also I can see neurodivergent people identifying with the lyrics and even more with the unmasking and masking behaviors
she is incredibly amazing 👏🏼

The song in general goes against institutes that offer a so-called cure for homosexuality. Which is still practiced today.
I think it's great that she's also pointing the finger (besides all the other reasons not to need a cure) at her critics here.
All movements that are otherwise involuntary with her, she makes here with full intention.
Her wide open eyes, her hand movements, Shaking her head, facial expressions and her involuntary twitches.

I have to say that I like both versions now. Piano versions anyway. But at first I had difficulties with the corus, or with the sound. But the music video was very helpful that I think it's great now.
Some songs just need longer and also visual support.

Great reaction as always. And I totally agree with you. She's in a league of her own artistic wise and lyrics wise. Hence why she can be called a true ARTIST. Because really, what's the point in looking, sounding and saying/singing the same as all the other artists out there ? There are like 100.000 artists that are more or less indistinguishable, at least to me. When I close my eyes, the mental projection I get of these artists is like a greyish haze, like a dense fog, where nothing really stands out. In that haze or fog, Aurora is a light and a sign post telling you in which direction to go. That's about as deep as I will go on a Friday evening, Norwegian time. :-)

She's a guru or alien or something, consistently without guile, a star seed on a mission who makes profound, deeply poetic music about the human condition. She once said, "Being human is an extreme sport." It's fun to watch her evolve.

There are aspects of her presentation that make me think of a young Bjork.
Aurora is the greatest songwriter out there right now. This song is definitely more of a catchy dance tune, but it's got me hyped for the album! Also dude, you haven't even scratched the surface of some of her best work yet. If you want specific songs to react to, I highly suggest "Infections Of A Different Kind", "A Different Kind Of Human", "Animal", "Apple Tree," and "Daydreamer". The studio versions, if possible since her production is top notch. These songs are all masterpieces.

That's the most looking straight into the camera that she's done in her videos. She's like the Isadora Duncan of our time. Full of grace.

It's a song about a woman who has died singing to her young boy from beyond the grave, begging him to keep speaking to her because she's listening. Beautiful and her voice is out of this world!

Have a listen at her unreleased song called 'Potion for Love'. It's the sister song to Exist for Love, and the only way to buy it officially is the vinyl.
Every single Aurora video (including most reaction videos) - check the comment field and someone needs to point out her hand/body movements - her wide-open eyes - her "shaking off the emotions of a song by shaking her head" - needing to point out that she looks "crazy or weird".
In this video, she takes ownership of all that (even by walking up to an ultra-wide lens) - on top of her love life (swinging both ways according to herself) and declares that she is perfectly fine, thank you very much. She needs to cure for herself. She needs no religious or other dogma to try to "heal her" from herself.
And under all that she gave me happy flashbacks to my summer of 1981(?) when I got a gameboy. Massaging it with some pretty clever disco patterns from the same time (and some later brilliant "Oslo-school" electronica tricks from the 1990s that still is alive - check out "Todd Terje" and "Lindstrøm" and that gang of cats being "Pet Shop Boys" clever while sounding "naive" and being high-end nightclub cool at the same time).
This little song pulls soo many references. One gets flashbacks to the "Bergen school" of electronica (by extension think early "Røyksopp" ("Poor Leno" has the same bright "swingy" and upbeat bass-line bopping under the minor-scale melody-line)).
They also use other production "tricks" from these classical cerebral electronica "schools". At times it can sound like she is running samples backwards (listen to the "tssssk" beat) - and in the chorus, she slows the bass-line down - modulating its feel.
(And on top of this - the easter eggs to "Exist for love" (yes she is reflected in the ball standing in her clam-shell - and she obviously breaks into Charleston dancing vibing with the EFL sound).

There is nobody like her and I've listened to all the current musicians like Lana Del Ray and Angelina Jordan and nobody does their own thing like her.
My boyfriend and I have completely different taste in music. He's more into electro J- pop idol culture. But when I started playing Aurora on our casual drives, he was getting into all of the songs and digesting the lyrics periodically asking me about them between driving. He particularly loves the vibe of this song as it sits right up his alley.

I had to come back and tell you about an interview I just saw of her's about this song. She said this song began with the inspiration of another ugly aspect of this world. It began as a song about/against conversion therapy.
I would really really like you to listen "Little Boy in the Grass" Man, the song is touching somethings it shouldn't touch (like every Aurora's songs actually)

I use to love her songs very much but finding out that she's a witch no thanks. I'm telling you got to be careful of whose songs you listen to it can cause a lot of disfunction in your life even seen it happen to many times. She did a video about it. The title says that this playlist is for her fellow witches and warlocks. She talked about it she wasn't hiding it, type it in and you'll see, put Aurora infant of the title. You could also see people in the comments saying that as a fellow witch myself we thank you for this music. Some of the witches was trying to figure out what type of witch she is and then found out she's a cottage witch. Not be deceived by the so called pureness, cause a lot things that are bad for you look the most appeasing.
