First, the grease fitting on top of the rear axle near the back tires, if that for directly greasing the axle bearing? and how do you know you have enough grease in it, i assume i dont need to grease it to the point i blow a seal.... Second question, im looking at a new 5065 or 75. Biggest implement i use, but use often is a 8' pull behind cutter. Is the 65 more than enough for the 5065 or should i steer more towards the 75? Thanks
The fitting is for the outermost bearing, I usually do 2 or 3 pumps every 10 to 15 hours depending on how hard I run it. I think the 65 would be plenty as long as you are cutting average grass but you could gain a gear maybe two with the 75. Thanks for watching.
