Best Mutton Thali In Pune | पुणे में सबसे अच्छा थाली | Ahilyadevi's Thali, Katraj
❤️Hello friends, so on our way from Kolhapur to Mumbai we had a stop over for lunch at Ahilyadevi's Thali a popular restaurant at Katraj, Pune. They say you get The Best Mutton Thali In Pune at this restaurant. So we took a little detour from our route to Mumbai and reached this mouth watering place. It is around 6 kms from the highway and just before you enter Pune City.
The menu had a variety of non vegetarian dishes to offer and a few vegetarian options. The main attraction here is the mutton which is freshly sourced from their own mutton shop. The quality of meat is just too good. There were chicken dishes too but we opted for the all popular mutton thali.
The thali had 3 varieties of mutton and the delicious Aalni or mutton soup served with bhakri and the fragrant Indryani rice. All the mutton dishes in the thali were full of local flavours or the Puneri flavours as the locals proudly call them. I specially liked the meat balls tossed in a delicious masala.
So friends if you travel this route I would highly recommend this restaurant for a good mutton meal.

I know mutton rates are 700 - 750 rs per kg ... But they are serving 4-5 pieces only which they cost for 750 rupees . Not worth it . Only upper and rice class people can afford it.
