This is human nature and a reflection of culture. Women do not always make choices that are not in their best interests - by western standards. I like the actor who is doing a good job playing the ML. The FL is doing a good job of her character. The ex-boyfriend is thick-headed - get it through your head that she doesn't want you, even if she wasn't married. When you don't have new scripts, you give other actors a chance to showcase their acting skills in the characters' roles. I would like to have seen a meatier, character-development role for his assistant. I am watching until the end because there is usually something different to keep it fresher.

So the FL pretended to be the wicked sister and married the sadistic ML all at the threat of her mother not receiving the medical care her ‘family’ were supposedly paying for. Couldn’t she find a job! She had a boyfriend who seemed nice she could have asked him for help. This is one drama where I didn’t feel sorry for the FL! She was so stupid that instead of taking the 50 million that she got for her kidney and using that to get away and pay for her mothers treatment she gave it to her worthless father! FL was so insipid she didn’t even make it her business to know if her mothers bills were being paid, especially since her father never cared about her or her mom! So she did all that filial piety by marrying the ML for nothing really! After the FL told the ML that she wasn’t the sister he was supposed to marry, his anger and revenge should have been directed towards the sister so his continued abuse of the FL didn’t make sense. Even if she did want to get back with her ex boyfriend it shouldn’t have been of any relevance to him as he was married to the wrong sister anyway. The ML should have acknowledged his feelings for the FL when he initially started having them instead of getting jealous and redirecting his anger he had for the sister towards the FL, it was like he totally forgot the reason for him marrying in the first place! Why the FL explained to him what she did or didn’t do was beyond me. The only obligation she had toward him was to pay him back the money she owed him but then again with all the unwarranted choking and pushing her down he did she should have taken that as her repayments and just left him, even the most timid person would be angry at being treated badly because of an incident someone else caused! FL has all the strength to slap her ex boyfriend for trying to rescue her but can’t lift a finger to the ML when he’s physically assaulting her, she is a masochist! The ex boyfriend should move on because FL isn’t worth his efforts, if she had loved him at all she wouldn’t have married the ML, no matter how sick her mom was. They just had to squeeze in a kidnapping 🙄.
You know her boyfriend could have offered to pay for her mum hospital bills right The bills is probably too expensive for an ordinary job to cover U should know the male lead is the one sponsoring her family expenses that why she was sold to the crippled male lead probably thinks she is the cause of the accident I just think she made too easy for him, she should have left him and make him pay for all the pain he caused her I guess no evil people are being punished for their actions in this movie

Psycho ML. The only thing he seemed to be able to do is act pitiful on his wheelchair, abuse and strangle FL, while falsely blaming her for his condition even though he later found out it was not actually her. There was no redeeming quality about ML at all. Not as if he turned good and lavished FL with love. He didn't trust FL and kept being suspicious her and always misunderstand situations. Leading to him abusing her. Only good thing about this drama is that its only about 1hr long (wish it was shorter!), anything more and it would be a torture for the us viewers 😓 Rubbish ending even. Writers must be smoking bad pot or have sado-masochistic tendencies or have had their heads kicked by a donkey (possibly all 3!) to keep writing stories where abusive MLs get their happy ever after with the abused FLs.
