Not really, they are smart and this one is already half humanized. I have a neighbor who has raised an eagle and he does not even wear a gauntlet to carry it. I raised several Red Tails back in the 50's and 60's and never owned a glove at all. They instinctively know that soft warm flesh is not to be punctured. LOL

I was lookin for a similar comment,,and yess,,!!! Foolish,,That bird,,( a raptor to boot) could have easily made a meal of your tongue or eyeball,,,
These birds are easily as smart as dogs, and tame, or they couldn't be handled at all. Give them some credit.
