Thank you very much for this video! I bought a second hand receiver, speakers and CD-player and am planning to get a record player, but didn't know how it works and what I should do. Really, thanks!
Where is this dude? I just found his channel, it's good. He looks like a science nerd version of Prince Bonnie Billy. He has 7k subscribers but some of his videos have hundreds of thousands of views.
This video is a complete and in-depth guide to putting together a decent record player system so that anyone, including a novice, can enjoy classic or new vinyl records. I’d recommend viewing before you go out hunting for the components. It’s good to know what to look for when you come across yard sale or thrift store finds, but this video even helped me to better understand, adjust, and care for my record player, bought about 15 years ago from Restoration Hardware. Love how Tiny Little Workshop organizes his information and makes even very complex subjects understandable.

Outstanding introduction. Even for someone who was a audiophile 20 years ago :) Thank you.

Oh, he's still around. Just needs some motivation to edit the backlog of videos that he's shot over the last 3 years.
this was so helpful, thank you! will you be making more videos like this soon?
Yes, Most excellent. 40+ years as an audiophile.
At-LP120s will be getting cheaper now that Audio-Technica are rolling out 2 new models, the cheapened down 120xUSB and the DJ 140XP
