The moment someone quite dismissively points out, that it is "not their job to educate the listeners" on a topic, related to the video, "because its [current year] and google is free" is the moment I tune out. Not because it is or is not the job of the creator to do so, but because it points to a chip on their shoulder about members of the audience. This seems not to be meant as an AgitProp-video, or something, meant to fire up the audience. Nontheless you feel the need to work spite into your educational content, which I feel is misplaced and does not come across mature in this setting. Next time, if it was not your intention to be unecessarly sassy, just give recommendations for a video or simply point to a source, if you want to give the people the choice to go "deep dive" themselves.
I can see you didn't like my tone and that's understandable but the same you completely dismissed my recommendations to articles and videos on said topic is the same way I can choose what I want to make a deep dive on. Next time, watch the whole video before you make comments on things I already addressed in the video. Have a nice day 😁
Okay, after watching it to the end, you indeed point to the three links in your description. point taken. I also agree with the sources. As an anarchist, I wholeheartedly agree with your "call to action" and your criticism of "perfomative feminism", instead of more radical activism. I am just wondering: You make it seem, as if the radical feminists of old are somehow gone and the modern movement is largely made of...let just say "not serious" people. Do you really mean that? I hear the same points made by conservatives and the right in general and I fail to umderstand the relevance. I could name, off the top of my head, a number of very important and accomplished movements and feminist pushes of recent, that shape our societies (I am from Germany btw.) and it rather seems, that, yes activism is hard, but also that we progress, overall.
@@alexanderhorwath506 Thank for seeing my efforts, I would say that we do still have radical feminists but there are fewer than we have had once before. Many radical feminists that we have in our society are misguided but I didn't say all. There are ones that are putting the work in and those are the ones who should giving platforms in our society.
I don’t think any amount of video essays will be enough to encompass the 4b/5b movement. Thoroughly fascinating.
Thank you soooo muchhh, that was really my fav video in the series even tho the other ones were great
I support 4b because it means less feminist in the future
It’s the post-credit scene scene for me 😂
