  • @mcolville

That was fucking cool. I got it to sync perfectly and it was awesome. Knowing that it was two different sources in sync, being able to adjust the volume levels to taste, gave the experience this frission it definitely wouldn't have had if the music had been normal background.
Probably not easy for folks on mobile, but whatever with them. :D

magnificent solution to the problem, and honestly I might personally prefer it to having the song embedded into the video

This was an amazing experience! It sucks that you couldn't use the song on RUclips but playing the music myself made it even more interactive and immersive! I would love more videos in this format. I can see this becoming a new phase in the evolution of video viewing and this is the beginning of it. Exquisitely well done sir! ❤

I know the song so well I was able to play it in my head for the start and seeing the visual hits play silently while syncing perfectly in my head was a trip

Great idea! Perfect sync and I loved it. After this VDO, Hendrix kept playing and i shut youtube off.

I love this so much, you really need to do this background song pairing more often. This video is truly one of the greats of youtube and analysis on rock history. I commend you and your work, nobody takes the deep dives that I'm looking for with rock music like you do.

ngl, I really enjoyed this even with having spotify open while doing it. I think I liked the interactive aspect of this video, but yeah, awesome job dude!
