I really love Mr. Clemons style not only on drums, but his great personality... Damn can he jam! I only hope someday to get to be a Dream Artist! Well done Bean! And as always amazing Dream cymbals!
Well done. Great playing that shows off the cymbals more than the drums. So often I look at demos of cymbals that do a better job of showing off the drums! I do really like your playing.
Robb Myers I'm 50 and have a 22 Dark Matter ride and a 20 Contact Crash/Ride that I use mainly as a crash. Love these cymbals! Check out Dreams Tri-Hats. They have a Diversity set and Element set. Both are awesome sounding! Love the sound of Dream cymbals at a working man's price!
I'm a Dream dealer. Let me know if you would want to order any of the ones you see here or any others that you might see on the internet that might interest you. Check out the Bliss series Gorilla Ride and some others as well.
Man I'm playing a meinl 19 inch crash and a Istanbul 18 inch xist crash and that flat ride and hi hats would just finish my sound off. Will be adding them to my kit soon.
someone please tell me what the hell he is doing at 2:17 with his ride and snare...my gawd, i've seen other drummers do a similar pattern, never knew what it was...
Peter Kim It's called comping (or complimenting). It is usually defined as a series of notes a jazz drummer plays on his snare (or any other instrument in the set) that serves to fill in space, accent, mimic, or compliment other instruments in the arrangement. It can be rudimentary based (though this can sound very boring and mechanical), but is usually played by a drummer just feeling what is going in around him and adding in his own notes without specific structure. At any rate, his right hand and left foot goes on auto pilot while he colors the composition with his kick and snare. It has taken me years to learn but it one of the most fulfilling lessons I have learned as a drummer. Hope this helps.
This drummer is mental. Love him!
One of the best drumming videos on RUclips, period. Both the drummer and the cymbals delightful.
I like that the flat ride still has a bit of a bell.
Don't know how drummers manage to play with their cymbals covering their toms so much but respect.
Clemons is so groovy. You can tell he's having a time.
The Dark line sounds amazing. Great 👍 job.

Great playing, love your enthusiasm ... The Hi-Hats sound great..
Wow! These cymbals are incredible 😍 incredible drumming too ❤
Sweet drumming, fella! I can hear Jack DeJohnette in there, Mike Clarke maybe.... And yes, those cymbals are pretty flash.
Good spot....slight dash of Roy Haynes too maybe?
Best line in the whole video, as hes commenting in the cymbals “...this is like a secret weapon..”
because it is a secret weapon. this crash sounds really really good for being a 16 inch crash
Omg man, just killer playing!
Great playing and cymbals!
Very impressive controlled sound. Dream is at one of our stores here in Trinidad. I'll check them out.

Awesome! What Sticks?
Love the ride sounds. Not a fan of "dirty" crash sounds, but every crash heard here was not bad.
Stunning sound, chocolate like.
Such tasty drumming
Old cymbals , are so solid's, sounds.gteart.feels.plays...all nights,
oouuweee! that says it all
dude genius drummer
Man these are killer !
...a pleasure and an honor sir....
someone please tell me what the hell he is doing at 2:17 with his ride and snare...my gawd, i've seen other drummers do a similar pattern, never knew what it was...
He's playing an up-tempo jazz ride pattern. He's just using the bounce of the stick to go really fast.
ghosting between the ride and snare almost broken paradiddles

Is it possible to play drums and not be influenced by Purdie?
Was waiting for the Purdie Shuffle
