I was told long, ago ... that "You can't love someone else the right way, until you can love yourself first." You have likely heard it yourself, at some point. I used to get so frustrated with that statement. For the simple fact that it did not apply, in my case. (Or so i thought). I felt that other ppl, for alll their good intentions, just "did not understand," since Everything I do is for my loved ones. That's who I am, and how I've always been. Yet, things still weren't as "right." It has taken many years- (I'm talking DECADES- I am now in my 40's). It took some major upheavals in my life to finally understand that that old saying was actually TRUE... and likely a factor in my life not being what it could have been. Figure out who you are. Be kind to yourself. Forgive yourself. Treat yourself the way you would treat any of your other loved ones... and let the magic happen. Hang in there. God Bless you and yours, and good luck.❤
