Burlesque The Musical⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
In this vlog my husband and I go to see the world premiere of Burleque the musical at the Manchester Opera House. I actually saw the show on its opening night and loved it, so when I heard they were doing a ticket lottery I had to enter as I really wanted to take my husband to see the show. Luckily I won the ticket lottery and got the chance to buy x2 front row seats for just £15 each. We decided to visit the show on Monday 17th June 2024, as that day had front row centre tickets available, so we were sat in the Stalls Row A seats 19 & 20. Front row tickets are classed as restricted view seats as their are some points in the show that you miss sitting in these seats. The show started at 7.30pm and had a run time of 2hrs 20 mins which includes a 20 minute interval act 1 was 70 mins and act 2 was 60 mins.
When Ali heads to the bright lights of New York in search of her mother, she finds herself drawn into a dazzling underground world where the beat of the music and the heat of the dance moves will change her life forever. Among this unlikely family of misfits, dreamers and schemers, Ali will unwittingly find her real voice, discover her talent, and find where she really, truly belongs.
Written by Steven Antin, with additional material by Kate Wetherhead, and directed and choreographed by Nick Winston, Burlesque The Musical is a scintillating journey of self-discovery that absolutely sizzles with songs by Christina Aguilera, Sia and Diane Warren, alongside additional songs by Jess Folley and Todrick Hall.
The show is running at the Manchester Opera House until 29th June 2024, it will then be retuning on the 3rd October until 2nd November.
