Nice creek finds, loved watching your video. I live in SC and most of what we find are translucent white quartz points and tools. It's a great day to find a nice flint point which I have many of. Keep up the good work your video was great and looking forward to seeing more.

Always stay hopeful. That's what keeps me going. That and you just never know what's around the next corner. Might not be nothing. Then it might be a cache. Or a Clovis. You just have to walk that extra mile sometimes. I've had several hunts. Where I haven't fiundcanything fir several hours and miles. Then walk right up on one. Heck 2 hunts back. I walked 14k steps. Found one little bird point. I was happy though. Going to try that area again sometime.
Thank you for watching. I really appreciate it. I hope to be back soon. Best of luck to you.

I have 3 paleo sites I hunt, at one I've found 1 whole Clovis point, the other 2 I've found 3 bottoms of Clovis points and 1 whole Pine Tree point 6 inches in length. All of them are close to water and are Glacier Cane sites. Up the road the farmer as dug out 2 Mammoths and 2 Saber Tooth Tiger skulls. Love your video!! Subscribed today.

@@PaleoHunter69 Really? Well nice surprise! Where I live was once the GRAND KANKAKEE SWAMP, after they drained it it was a sea of black dirt with islands of sand here and there. Area around the Grand KANKAKEE Hunt Club off of U.S. 30 STATE RD 39 SOUTH banned slate artifacts and hard stone abundance, of course that area has produced Clovis, Pine Tree, Turkey Tails, Adena, and Doves.

That bone handle may have held an antler pressure/punch flaking bit that would need to be continuously redressed for optimum point making. Probably also used as a billet. Nice, grey, heartbreaker looks like 50% of an agate basin. You panned over nice, rocky creek flowing next to find. There must be more there. Probably many lining creek bed. Keep looking!

My theory on that bone is that it was broke in the body and left to heal it's self while the animal had to live with it. That would explain why it isn't hollow on that end. Bones have a way of expanding it's material to fuse back together. But it may not have been able to form back together. Also, it could be really old.

You did really well for the creek. Some of them can be tough to hunt, especially the bigger the creek is and/or having bigger rock's.
Ol Joe is getting really good with his Dremel work. Those birdys he does look top notch. And the antler for your table clean up showing, is really kool.. it's good to see you picking up more subs. I think everyone in the community should have relatively the same amount. I agree with you 100%. Everyone should be relatively close in subscribers. I dont understand the matrix/formula on youtube. For putting your channel in the search engine.
I just do what I do. I'm not anyone special. I do cherish every single artifact. Whether it's broken or not. I take them all home. Because each one is a part of history. All have a story to tell
I want to get my yak in the water. Check out some of the deeper creeks and smaller rivers. Try and find some new areas to hunt. I enjoy the challenge of the creeks. Their just not producing much. It takes more time and energy. I've walked 32k foot steps. In the last 3 days walking creeks. But they are beautiful areas to walk. So that is a major benefit.
Thank you for watching Mike. I always love to read your comments. I'm waiting on you to put out your next video. I watched Richard's last one. You men had a really good day. I hope to put another out soon. I wish you the best.

But I enjoy hunting with Chris frim Mill Creek relics. Going to get out with Will Embry as well. I just hope they put me back on my team. After we get this one on the right path.

Paleo Hunter Ya my in-laws run a 36,000 acre ranch in eastern Oregon. It’s all private so I can find a few there. They found a 6” obsidian Clovis there last summer. I’m hoping to go over in a couple weeks once all the snow melts..

Dee I'm not sure what it's intended use was. It's not natural. I've never seen anything like that. I hope to find someone who could identify it. The type of animal it came from.
I hope I can continue to find some artifacts. I put in several miles to find those. But it's all worth it. I'm going to get out again tomorrow. Hopefully stumble up on one or two.
I love that carving Joe made me. It's the best gift I have gotten. In many years. He did a really good job making it. I'll be sending him some things real soon. I just have a lot on my plate right now. I may get them in the mail tomorrow. I have to run up town. To the car dealership. To take care of something.
It will happen for you Dee. Just put in the time and have faith. I always say a prayer before I go. Sometimes when I'm out as well. God will bless you with something killer.
I hope Joe finds a way to make some stands. For a display case out of antler. Maybe carve a few arrow heads in them. That would be killer. I'd make it well worth his time.
Thank you for commenting and watching. I appreciate you supporting my channel. May God bless you and Joe. Tell Joe I said hello.

Yes sir it is. They hunted in groups. A lot of time the Paleo people would form a long line. Sneak up on a small herd. Sneak up on the Mammoth group. Jump up and scare them to cause a stampede. Chase them off a cliff.

    • @PaleoHunter69
      @PaleoHunter69  4 года назад +2

If your finding Paleo stuff. I would be happy with that.
You just have to find evidence of habitation. Chips of flint. Shards of pottery. Pieces of points. Or whole ones. Then walk in circles around that area. Or walk in a grid pattern. To discern the site.
