I've been waiting for you to do this film! Love the way you have taken this classic and reshaped it as a story of hope and faith married with drive and a determination for self-betterment. Indeed, there is something about Cinderella that is absolutely charming, you are just drawn to her character, proving thus that she is more than a pretty face. Also the concept of receiving something different (on the face of it) from what you had originally striven for, but is better suited for your needs is such a powerful reminder for all of us in our daily lives. Like Hajar (great comparison point btw!) we need to continue working toward acheiving our goal and accept the opportunities and blessings that come our way, even if they are not packaged in the paper we wanted. Are you going to analyse the sequels to Cinderella as well? I remember being obsessed with the 3rd film (the second was forgettable) because it focused on the redemption of Anastasia. I would love to hear your take on that one!
