Takeda Pharmaceutical opened its Shonan Research Center to the public as the Shonan Health Innovation Park (Shonan iPark) in 2018 to create a life science ecosystem in Japan. The Shonan iPark is a rapidly growing science park, and more than 85 companies have joined iPark as a tenant or member as of February, 2020.
