What materials did Arno Breker use for his sculptures?

Mostly clay, he would have a metal base with strings holding wooden crosses. The crosses meant to hold clay to the metal base. And then the clay would be solidified in a furnace. He also less frequently chipped away at hard materials to make statues out of marble and quartz. And also made bronze molds of his clay statues.
