Hard to imagine how terrifying this batting unit would be when Smith, Labuschagne and Warner are at their real best.
Thats what impressed me most about this squad; 4 years ago or so, if we won a series like this it was because Smith and Warner were averaging 100, because the rest of the batters would be averaging 15. Batting wise i would take Ricky Ponting side any day plus Shane Warne in the spin dept no this side doesn't match up to Ricky Ponting side. Plus having watched The whole series i am afraid that Mark Wood short pitched bowling when he got it right was not very comfortable for nearly all of the Aussies while Ricky Ponting and Mathew Hayden were superb at it I should know how are Shoaiib Akhtar bowled but then i might be wrong but that is my opinion
@@zafarhussain4848 Yeah Ponting's side was better in the batting, Steve Waugh's even more so, but this bowling attack is unbeleivable. Dont underestimate Nathan Lion; he has over 400 test wickets. I'm pretty sure he goes for less runs than Warne. He's the best off spinner Australia has ever produced. If Australia can sort out the openeners and Green finds his rightful form with the bat India will have a real contender on their hands.
Any of our top order batsmen would score 50s/100s nearly every time against teams like Ireland, but that means nothing if you can't challenge big teams like SA, IND, AUS etc.
Thats the harsh truth unfortunately! Australia are generally a better test team than England currently. Even in England Australia were dominating them and were just an inch away from winning that ashes series.
From 68-0 to 128 All out is NOT ONLY due to Good bowling or Bad batting but the time period was also not In favour for the team batting on that time , the Period between Sunset to Night Sky is Too annoying to Pick some Colours and PINK Ball was itself hard to read . That's what we see in Australias 2nd innings too at the end of Day .
Wow Aus Team played fantabulous. What a match it was. Total dominance. I thought eng will be atleast a SINGLE match. But they had no chance in terms of fielding and bowling. Simply Aus have performed outclass performance this time.
The problem here with England's batting looks to be not only lacking proper technique but also temperament . I think England need a breath of fresh air filled with pent up anger and depression on their performance this tour . They need a fresh , galvanised start from the coming summer and some standard changes in the structure of domestic cricket .
Congratulations Australia!! Great character shown by the lads + great bounce back after bg trophy in both field and behaviour. England, no probs next time.... just keep pushing!!
That was different Australian team led by Paine, India was lucky on both occasions to have face weak Aussies team. Also just one match made the difference else Aussies would have hammered Indians there too.
Why didn't Green get MOTM? I think they are too blinkered on arbitrary numbers when handing out that award. Green hit 74 with the bat, okay it wasn't 101 like Head but it was still a great score, then got the important, match-winning breakthroughs in the 4th innings. Amazing thing is I think he would've won it had Head hit 99 rather than 101... too much importance on "a century".
The “century” came when Australia were 3-12 and changed the momentum of the entire game. this wasn’t an ordinary century, this was match winning. I know what green did was probably close, but it was a toss up between green and head here.
I think both 2019 and this ashes were quite similar. Both of those ashes were dominated by bowlers. The only difference between those two ashes was Steve Smith performance in 2019 Ashes. Either quality of batting is getting bad in Ashes or bowling quality is getting better.
At least in 2019 ashes the england batsman scored some runs, but this time except root everyone surrendered in front of Aussie bowlers. +This time every Aussie batsman did have some good batting performances at least in one game of the series, infact the Aussie tail enders batted brilliantly than top order of england team. But one thing for sure the quality of test batsmans have declined in both the teams.
2019 was way more competitive than this series. This was a very one sided series with the Aussies dominating in all the matches. Just proves that Australia are ahead of England in tests
That delivery at 5:50 Green was one of the nastiest delivers I’ve seen in a while. Actually sped up off the turf. Aussie quicks are an absolute menace.
The main thing! Captain 🎓 pat Cummins.. is humble man.. he said aggression must be with cricket.. with respect! His ideology is different from old.. Australia 🦘 captains.. he would be more successful captain then any Australian former captains.. even he donated for covid in india.. that's the man🔥
All I can say, from 68-0 to 124 all out is, the approach was never to bat as you do in a test match. I mean you have two full days in your belt and you are playing an ODI match here. Some of the wickets were pure swings as we see in ODI's and T20's. England looked a very determined side to win this match but over agression and poor planning may have caused them the match. And again the darkness in the middle order, compare it with the performance of Green, Carey and even their lower order was capable to bat for about 30 overs. A lot to ponder for England, and a very impressive all round performance by Australia. Giving the vibes of that killer team we have seen them in their prime!
Everything goes Marvelous, except A Beautiful Century by The Mighty Steve Smith❤️ Bcz Ashes is incomplete without a century of smudge💔 We were with u in your whole career and now We are even in your back strongly❤️

A case should be made for pak as well , just my opinion.

If India were there there could not chase down the score...
West Indies and Pakistan too lol. But I suspect WI will beat England coming up too. Their bowling attack is pretty decent

England test team is nothing more than a disappointment. It looked liked they were going for a holiday and suddenly coaches told them 'listen guys, let's play test cricket in Australia.
England's three ashes outing in Australia.

Dominant and fearsome. This Aussie team reminds me of the legendary team that Ricky Ponting used to lead.
@@zafarhussain4848 agreed
@@zafarhussain4848 but the flare with which they played in this series was something that was missing since the last 3-4 years.
Without Mark Taylor and Steve Waugh laying the foundation for the Aussie "invincibles", Ponting would have been nothing.
So disappointed by England there. At 68-0 we should have got close to the target. Burns’s dismissal was just plain unlucky.

From the very first ball at the Gabba
Aussies have been on fire
Richly Deserving Winners
The England look like Minnows in front of Australia in every single test...
Now Ireland is a tough competition against them...
Believe that💪💪
Any of our top order batsmen would score 50s/100s nearly every time against teams like Ireland, but that means nothing if you can't challenge big teams like SA, IND, AUS etc.
Thats the harsh truth unfortunately! Australia are generally a better test team than England currently. Even in England Australia were dominating them and were just an inch away from winning that ashes series.
how they sacked langer after all this amazing cricket :(
Always remember this ⚱️⚱️ ashes series
Australia too good this Ashes
Well deserved 4-0
From 68-0 to 128 All out is NOT ONLY due to Good bowling or Bad batting but the time period was also not In favour for the team batting on that time , the Period between Sunset to Night Sky is Too annoying to Pick some Colours and PINK Ball was itself hard to read . That's what we see in Australias 2nd innings too at the end of Day .
It was a bowler's paradise, of course England were going to struggle.
4th innings is the always the worst, mostly heaven for bowlers
@@KingClaw no doubt about it

Wow Aus Team played fantabulous. What a match it was. Total dominance. I thought eng will be atleast a SINGLE match. But they had no chance in terms of fielding and bowling. Simply Aus have performed outclass performance this time.
68 without loss after that 182 all out. What an insane batting.
Congratulations My Boys . Seal The series . I m very Happy Guys . Keep The fire and Form . From Srilanka ❤️❤️
The problem here with England's batting looks to be not only lacking proper technique but also temperament . I think England need a breath of fresh air filled with pent up anger and depression on their performance this tour . They need a fresh , galvanised start from the coming summer and some standard changes in the structure of domestic cricket .
Ek India k sath vala match har jaye bs uske bad they can start fresh..😂😂
they focused on the world cup too much. Now they are struggling to succeed in test matches.

That was different Australian team led by Paine, India was lucky on both occasions to have face weak Aussies team. Also just one match made the difference else Aussies would have hammered Indians there too.
@@KaranSharma-lm6eh Some kids should be told this is 5+ zone. Yes lucky in your Alien thoughts.
True, it should have given to green or boland
😂
The “century” came when Australia were 3-12 and changed the momentum of the entire game. this wasn’t an ordinary century, this was match winning. I know what green did was probably close, but it was a toss up between green and head here.
Green was the other half of that partnership, he got 74 (and 23) plus he got 4 match wickets, I think he should have got it.
May our parents live more than 100 years with good health and prosperity!! Ameen! ❤️❤️❤️
Engalnd's confidence shattered the moment the first ball duck in Gabba.
It's been a brilliant series...... Well played Aussie 💖🎉💥🔥💕
Cam Green and Marnus Labuchagne♥️
I think both 2019 and this ashes were quite similar. Both of those ashes were dominated by bowlers. The only difference between those two ashes was Steve Smith performance in 2019 Ashes. Either quality of batting is getting bad in Ashes or bowling quality is getting better.
2019 ASHES WAS MUCH MORE ENTERTAINING
At least in 2019 ashes the england batsman scored some runs, but this time except root everyone surrendered in front of Aussie bowlers. +This time every Aussie batsman did have some good batting performances at least in one game of the series, infact the Aussie tail enders batted brilliantly than top order of england team. But one thing for sure the quality of test batsmans have declined in both the teams.
2019 was way more competitive than this series. This was a very one sided series with the Aussies dominating in all the matches. Just proves that Australia are ahead of England in tests

6:52 Boland getting Root out was the moment for me
All I can say, from 68-0 to 124 all out is, the approach was never to bat as you do in a test match.
Everything goes Marvelous, except A Beautiful Century by The Mighty Steve Smith❤️
