Aus Vs WI while pointing was the cap windies were chasing 340+ gayle and chanderpaul were openers first wicket fell on 171-1 and team folded for 189-10. This was a very impressive performance from the Aussies, even when their best batsmen were not really at their best. Green and Boland were brilliant additions, and the return of Khawaja and Head has added so much strength to the squad. Hard to imagine how terrifying this batting unit would be when Smith, Labuschagne and Warner are at their real best.

    • @timblizzard4226
      @timblizzard4226 2 года назад

      Thats what impressed me most about this squad; 4 years ago or so, if we won a series like this it was because Smith and Warner were averaging 100, because the rest of the batters would be averaging 15. To be fair I thought Labuschagne played pretty well; those were tough wickets to bat on and he still made runs and soaked up a fair amount of new ball deliveries.

Hazlewood and Boland are similar bowlers so they would only go with one of them until there is an injury. Starc and jhye are x factor bowlers so again any one of them. Tooo hard to choose. Hazlewood and starc are much experienced but bolands spells are too good not to leave him. Boland and Hazlewood would be very effective in flat pitches compared to other bowlers including pat.

    At first I congratulate Australia for their victory... what an extraordinary and excellent performance by Australia... today All credit goes to bowling department... I have gotten little scared after batting disaster but have faith on Aussies... Green,, Cummins,, Starc,, Boland one after another are amazing...absolutely stunning performance by bowlers... approximately one and half hour they takes and show what Australia can do... awesome,, unbelievable,, amazing....this team is going to World's best team... Travis Head,, Steve Smith,, Khawaja,, Warner,, Mitchell Marsh,, Green,, Carey a strong batting side and Cummins,, Starc,, Boland,, Lyon,, Green,, Smith in bowling... nothing is compared with this strong team.... batting,, bowling,, fielding all departments are mind blowing... Australia has done an impossible job... England has nothing to do...just surrender to Australia... Justin Langer makes his team a world class... each and every player is a jewel... Australia deserves a great bow... Ashes goes to right hand... it's a big win just after winning World Cup in T20... I am very happy today...my team,,my love Australia... I wish a very good luck for next Pakistan series...play well Aussies just like now... God bless you all... love you all Aussies.

    I think both 2019 and this ashes were quite similar. Both of those ashes were dominated by bowlers. The only difference between those two ashes was Steve Smith performance in 2019 Ashes. Either quality of batting is getting bad in Ashes or bowling quality is getting better.

      At least in 2019 ashes the england batsman scored some runs, but this time except root everyone surrendered in front of Aussie bowlers. +This time every Aussie batsman did have some good batting performances at least in one game of the series,infact the Aussie tail enders batted brilliantly than top order of england team. But one thing for sure the quality of test batsmans have declined in both the teams.

      2019 was way more competitive than this series. This was a very one sided series with the Aussies dominating in all the matches. Just proves that Australia are ahead of England in tests

    The main thing! Captain 🎓 pat Cummins.. is humble man.. he said aggression must be with cricket.. with respect! His ideology is different from old.. Australia 🦘 captains.. he would be more successful captain then any Australian former captains.. even he donated for covid in india.. that's the man🔥

    All I can say, from 68-0 to 124 all out is, the approach was never to bat as you do in a test match. I mean you have two full days in your belt and you are playing an ODI match here. Some of the wickets were pure swings as we see in ODI's and T20's.
    England looked a very determined side to win this match but over agression and poor planning may have caused them the match. And again the darkness in the middle order, compare it with the performance of Green, Carey and even their lower order was capable to bat for about 30 overs. A lot to ponder for England, and a very impressive all round performance by Australia. Giving the vibes of that killer team we have seen them in their prime!
