Sneako being banned is the equivalent of your sibling getting in trouble. You feel bad for them and don't want to see them punished. But at the end of the day, you're not surprised because they were told this was going to happen if they kept acting out. Sneako was told he was going too fast. He didn't listen and he suffered for it.
I feel like the consensus for sneako is that people just found him mildly entertaining and agreed with a few things, I’d say it was about 50/50 but personally old sneako is better.
Not really, only thing that changed is that he started streaming. He’s always been quite vocal about his views, once he started streaming as a faster way respond to repeated criticism he just happened to fall into the same space as people like Andrew Tate, The FreshNFit cast etc.
To be fair, he did pretend to SA someone who criticized him on a livestream. It was a warranted ban, as that is straight up s3xual harassment no matter which way you shake that stick. I'm honestly impressed that Chad Chad didn't respond to such an awful clip because you know they saw it. You know his fans blasted Chad Chad with that clip. I do think the platform has a sh*t system when it comes to giving out punishments, where it misses the mark 90% of the time, but this was definitely that 10% where it didn't miss the mark. You don't pretend to SA someone just because they criticized you and that hurt your feelings, especially on a livestream surrounded by people you know cling on to your every word. He had a responsibility and a chance to show people how to appropriately respond to criticism and he honestly could not have responded in a worse way. Now, being unprofessional itself should not be a bannable offense, but pretending to SA someone on a livestream? Oh yeah, totally. While we're at it, let's get the police involved and put him on The List. He can be a woman-hater until his little heart bursts with joy, but that was 50 Shades of Never Okay.
Honestly this! I'm getting sick of both side aguing and arguing and arguing abt this that and blah blah blah But yeah honestly threatening SA in ANY way should be a ban. Like u said outside of that yeah other reasons can be messy alot of the time but I think we need to be careful with censorship AND letting ppl say what they want. Either one gone too far can end disastrously. Exactly what I was thinking. He absolutely deserves a ban. How do some people not get that? This isn't about free speech. Tom's videos are alright, but they aren't entirely objective and I wish if he was going to be neutral, he'd at least understand that hate speech and general speech in public forums *are* always going to be subject to potential removal, ban, deletion, blockage, etc. Because *that* is a protected aspect of free speech. Just because someone doesn't agree with you, doesn't mean you can just say whatever you want without consequence then cry, "but mah free speech" when your content is removed. Should we have a 3 strikes policy on simulating SA on fellow creators in front of children? The "free speech" argument doesn't fly here and never will.
The problem with RUclips moderation isn't really the rules, because the rules they do have makes sense. The problem is how they enforce those rules. They demonetize channels who say swear words in the first 15 seconds of their video (even if the videos are meant for a mature audience) while allowing channels like quantum tv to foster toxic communities
i think the punishment should be on youtube - because as far as i can tell it's their responsibility to stop "impressionable kids" from getting to content which may radicalize them in the first place. of course, since youtube kids didn't take off it's better to bubble-wrap the entire internet just in case somebody gets offended. oh well, happens

@Zoomer Imperator He's probably talking about the "Whatever is famous at the moment" cycle, small/medium size youtubers want to gain popularity quickly? They'll copy every single mainstream topic at the moment, and then fall into being forgotten about, the thing that killed sneako was the fact that he spoke too much about a topic with little to no information to back up his whole lot of bullshit

No, I don't agree that banning him or Tate will bite anyone in the ass. I can without a doubt say that society is easily bettered by banning them and I don't find it convincing that this is even a mild threat to free speech
The issue is that when we ban these people, they don’t just disappear. They go somewhere else like 4chan. They all end up in this same place together and they create a massive echo chamber with people that just further radicalize eachother without anyone to challenge their ideas. This is how you get to people driving their cars through parades to kill the chads and Stacy’s and going to mosques to kill people because they’re scared of the great replacement. At least if we’re sharing a platform with these people, it’s much easier to combat their rhetoric
censoring ideas only makes them stronger. covering something up always results in people asking why it was buried and looking into it hell, I've become something younger me wouldn't be able to comprehend for that reason alone

There is a video of Sneako with his girlfriend at dinner with Destiny and his girlfriend and Sneako acts in the most respectful, beta way imaginable (not that there is anything wrong with that). What would your solution be? Obviously age-gating would be sensible but doesn't work with other content. What would be the criteria to ban red-pillers?
@@michaelh878 Honestly I'm not sure what I would do to stop this. I guess it's somewhat inevitable that these creators will exist but for some reason, they've recently been gaining a larger platform of impressionable young men. The thing that draws them in is usually the fact that these people are everything they arent; rich, successful, and free to do whatever they want. This makes these boys look up to them. Maybe if more celebrities that they look up to start speaking out against this type of thing, they'd listen. I also think that banning dangerous ideology from easily accessible platforms (like RUclips, TikTok, and Instagram) and limiting it to specific websites could work. Said websites could include something like an age verification system where you have to show an id or something. @@gem9535 I highly doubt this, I really can't see how an open relationship is anything other than a suboptimal contract agreed upon because either one or both parties aren't truly content or compatible. An open relationship seems to be de facto cheating and that's basically ironclad evidence the relationship won't work. I see encouraging open relationships as the dangerous route since you create the illusion that this toxic relationship can work and provide some lasting happiness which it definitely cant. Often times the people in such relationships would truly be better off breaking up with one another and finding a more compatible personality type which is of course easier said than done.
@@feshpince7181 How many open relationships last more than... 10 years? "Works" is a very relative term there are plenty of examples of lifelong marriages though they're becoming rarer unfortunately. Can the same be said of open relationships or is the timescale highly myopic and short? I believe they can "work" for a handful of years but the idea that anybody is happy in an open relationship is dubious to me and that they'd continue to be happy when both parties are in their 40s or so sounds practically mythical to me.
Hey Tom. I’ve been binge watching your content so much lately. You’re a great dude and your channel is definitely going places. Keep your chin up and always be yourself, never stop bro ❤
@@TurkeyTom I hope you have a great day the way you make mine whenever I see the videos, I always watch them and they are always good, thank you Mr. Turkey!
I rly don’t get the hate, while he doesn’t specifically add quality advice he actively laughs at status quo. Even if person will not follow him they may take conscious notes of underlying issues (which don’t try to lie to yourself are real) it is tempting to claim moral high ground today but I advise to consider whether you are sure you’d still be right after 100, 1000, 10000 years.
personally i think freedom of speech is something that can only go so far, his ban was justified because he was platforming hateful views that were being spread onto actual children who knew no better. it was seen in schools, teachers were complaining about it, parents were too etc. etc. in reality the more of an audience you have the more power your words do as well. you can either have your content promote acceptance, hate, or nothing at all. but you can’t be surprised that your “freedom of speech” isn’t freedom of consequence once said speech starts to affect others on a mass scale. that’s simply newton’s third law at that point.
Only the government has to allow free speech. No one else does. It amazes me that people don't seem to realize that RUclips isn't a public utility and is in fact a private company. They don't *have* to let anyone post anything at all and there's nothing you can do about it. RUclipsrs are using RUclips's property to post their videos and you certainly don't have a right to use someone else's property when they don't want you to.
Banning people for doing things you don’t agree with is a slippery slope. Elon Musk is the best example of this he bans people on twitter for calling him out.

As much as I love and agree with Turkey Tom on a lot of things, this viewpoint really confuses me, too. Having free speech doesn't give you the right to yell ‘FIRE!’ in a theatre, yaknow? Also, I’m not going to take someone who sees my existence as a full human being as a debate, seriously.
@@Hawxicity from what I can tell he has multiple script writers so the message gets confused sometimes. That is a guess though so don't take it to seriously but I can't really come up with another reason. the rise of sneako and tate-like people is a direct consequence of the demonising of traditional masculinity. the people that hate tate the most are the people responsible for his rise and influence when you erase normal masculinity, it leaves only the more extreme, warped, and inflated parody of it that tate pedals. tate became famous because he's the only mainstream source of masculinity of any kind left. these people have nobody to blame but themselves for tate and his clones rising, and I'm only surprised it took as long as it did
I keep seeing comments about Tom saying Sneako ‘didn’t deserve the ban.’ And I get it, I think him being BANNED was deserved. Hell, Tom even said it was INEVITABLE. But if Tom thinks it was inevitable, then it has me wondering if what “wasn’t deserved” was the mass deplatforming, rather than the ban itself. Because mass deplatforming is a very dangerous tool that I myself cannot get behind or endorse. But that pantomiming stream in question DID undoubtedly had flaggable content.
@@cherrybombstudios1671 I feel like that does make quite a bit more sense as to why Turkey Tom said he didn't deserve it. I just wish that he himself cleared that up.
Nah he 100% deserves the ban. RUclips would be tacitly endorsing the absolutely disgusting comments he has made if they didn’t by continuing to issue him cheques for his content. It’s not legally the way it works, but in essence creators are RUclips’s employees, and if one employee told another employee in the same company they thought they needed “the sense f**ked into” them, they’ve be fired immediately. Even if it wasn’t a fellow employee, a company wouldn’t tolerate that behaviour. This isn’t even to touch on the morality of what he said, which is also not good. That action alone, regardless of any of his other opinions, actions, or the relationships he had with others, just justification enough to be prevented from making money through a private company by sharing his views. Free speech is not limitless and this especially applies on an international platform like RUclips, that caters to the laws and rights of many nations, not just the USA.

No need to feel sad for someone who willingly jumped into the bloody mess, he tipped his toes in and enjoyed the exposure, leaning his entire body into the pool. It's best to deal with these types of people by just giving them no publicity. Treat them as if they don't matter and they'll shut up real soon.

You don't pretend to SA someone just because they criticized you and that hurt your feelings, especially on a livestream surrounded by people you know cling on to your every word. He had a responsibility and a chance to show people how to appropriately respond to criticism and he honestly could not have responded in a worse way.

Someone who's never listened to Tate:
As a 13 year old girl I can say that sneako and Andrew Tate (along with all the other alpha male red pill creators) have heavily effected me and so many other girls. It feels like the boys I grew up around, my own friends, have turned into total strangers. I know very few boys in my grade who DON'T like sneako. It doesent matter if he is "just playing a character", because you cant deny the fact that these creators are effecting us every day. I wish more people would listen to girls like me who are actually experiencing the real world consequenses of his actions. I'm just scared that I'm gonna continue to grow up in an environment full of horrible men who don't respect me. I dont want to have to tolerate it. I thought the world was getting better but to be honest it feels like we're reverting back to old ways.
I completely agree with you and I'm so sorry you have to grow up with this.
Yes the young men and boys are being taught to behave in a way that is totally unappealing but sold the idea that the only problem that needs to be fixed is that they are not rich enough. Not sure what 13 year olds are supposed to do with that information.
Well don’t disregard all of it, there’s not an issue with young men knowing there worth. Respect them a little.
Said websites could include something like an age verification system where you have to show an id or something. personally i think freedom of speech is something that can only go so far, his ban was justified because he was platforming hateful views that were being spread onto actual children who knew no better. it was seen in schools, teachers were complaining about it, parents were too etc. etc. in reality the more of an audience you have the more power your words do as well. you can either have your content promote acceptance, hate, or nothing at all. but you can’t be surprised that your “freedom of speech” isn’t freedom of consequence once said speech starts to affect others on a mass scale. that’s simply newton’s third law at that point.
Its not speech its the threats. You spewed a bunch of nothing
@@Scyldcynn so how is allowing hateful rhetoric moral?
@@ottopotatum5775 threats are a form of said speech
Only the government has to allow free speech. No one else does. It amazes me that people don't seem to realize that RUclips isn't a public utility and is in fact a private company. They don't *have* to let anyone post anything at all and there's nothing you can do about it. RUclipsrs are using RUclips's property to post their videos and you certainly don't have a right to use someone else's property when they don't want you to.

how anyone can think this ban isnt 100% deserved is a bit weird imo
the rise of sneako and tate-like people is a direct consequence of the demonising of traditional masculinity. the people that hate tate the most are the people responsible for his rise and influence
when you erase normal masculinity, it leaves only the more extreme, warped, and inflated parody of it that tate pedals. tate became famous because he's the only mainstream source of masculinity of any kind left. these people have nobody to blame but themselves for tate and his clones rising, and I'm only surprised it took as long as it did

Nobody forced him, there was no semblance of defamation, nobody threatened him, he opened his mouth and enjoyed the wider publicity.
