I’m honestly jealous of the love,support & help that Amber gets and she doesn’t even seem to care. I lost my job, then my home, and was homeless living in my car til it was repoed/lost everything I owned. Got sober & on Suboxone & a job. [almost 2months clean] Now I’m homeless, winter is coming & have 0 to wear to keep warm,no blanket, no transportation,struggle to stay physically cleaned up to continue working so I can save up to get transportation again/a safe place to sleep at night. And I’m upset bc I’m working my ass off soo dang hard & have no one to help me with anything. Amber literally seems unfazed when a meal is placed in her hands, clothes, $, etc. I struggle every day to keep pushing, trying to get basic necessities. It’s just frustrating. I’d be so grateful for clothes or a meal or for someone to ask me how my day is. It’s the little things that matter and on behalf of amber and others that you help, thank you for doing what you do. It gives me the tiniest bit of hope that I might get through this. Sorry for the rant.❤

Agreed!! But keep on pushing. It's tough feeling like it's all stacked against and that it doesn't matter then seeing some who are worse don't care or don't try win... I remind myself they aren't winning in the end. And that life's unfair. (Or some other sentiment to help)
Unfortunately Ive seen to many videos of her refusing food and demanding the money because she's not hungry or on a dope run and doesn't have time to wait for the food! I hope she changes and she's in my 🙏 but she has to want to change

People need to talk about nebulous topics or they'll burn out. Imagine endlessly pestering a morbidly obese person to go to the gym. They'll just shut themselves out and lose motivation.
Pestering addicts about rehab is truly not the right way to go about it. If you watch these interviews on here then you should know that Jeff brings it up occasionally, but he won't pester people and push people until they get fed up with him all together.
The right thing to do is to FIRSTLY be a real friend. A real and genuine friend who cares. Secondly you can try and encourage people to seek out help.
Jeff made her day. Look what he got her. A nice wig, some much needed clothes for the cold nights. He's checking up on her.

Yes, she needs to want to go to rehab, Jeff's doing the best he can and it's better to focus on 3 or 4 people and make a difference as he definitely does.

Just makes me cross when people don’t look after their children and they get everything for free. No rent. Free food free clothes. And wangle money to get high. Not so clever. More clever to resist temptation get of their butts get a job and support the most important people in this world. The children. I thought that Amber had a daughter. Her life choices have consequences and it isn’t “easy.” BUT it is extremely unfair and horrible to put her child through this. Her child never ever sees her mother. Amber has put her family through hell.

I understand the human impulse to compliment and encourage someone in Amber's situation, however, the fact remains that she's killing herself an inch at a time and at this point is beyond anyone's help. Like I said in my initial comment, she's a small-time schemer hell-bent on her own destruction, which is her conscious personal choice. There are far more interesting and deserving people down there who would actually make use of all the attention and money people waste on her and her never changing story.

@@roubee4004. Staying alive is a lot of work, for people in active addiction. They don’t have time or energy to donate. The people who donated something or treated me like a human being made such a big difference to me. They made me feel like maybe I did deserve to recover, for the first time. Now that I have some time and energy to give, I love to do that. No one deserves the stigma, violence, and risk people with addictions face every day, everywhere they go. Small kindnesses go a long way toward changing lives, attitudes, and policies. These are the people who know what is needed by others like them, the most. When they recover and get on their feet, I have seen people do amazing things that make the world a better place to live, and make it more possible for people in situations like they faced to survive them. That’s worth buying a pack of cigarettes or spotting people a few dollars, who I used to be on the streets with worth it, whenever I have it. If I hadn’t been there and didn’t know who I am today, and the value I had back then, I couldn’t do that. Believe me, we are worth the effort.

Subscribers buy things for Amber, Jeff just passed on to her, a lot people sounds like Jeff buys a lot for Amber, which isn't. Also a lot of time Amber is the one asking for interview with Jeff and Jeff will tell her( that he doesn't have the money for her to do another interview sometime) All can see and find out in the older videos.

Some of the comments are still really supportive and some are proof that misunderstanding addiction is still a huge issue we have collectively.
Majority of the people down there- including amber-not only suffer with mental illness- they also have no concept of living a sober life.
People may think it’s so simple as to getting into rehab and working a program- but for some people it just isn’t black&white. Learning to function in society is a whole different situation over just getting sober.
She has to be ready and accept her life and her own being and have a true understanding of herself to be able to be successful in her journey drugs maybe the top priority issue but it’s far from the only which makes it so difficult for that 1st step. She’s her worst critic. And people may see her as just excuses but her mind and her thoughts-her traumas are very real and her real demons are what keep her stuck. Which is why addicts(we) call it “ripping&running”. We’re ripping out our minds& bodies running from our lifes

Kirkbride is what you make it! People say it's horrible but it helped me! Also 8th and Girard will take her if she goes to apiscable and goes to the crises center their they will find her a place!

Happy to see this update. Was a lil worried. I just wish she would want to get clean. Get into a good rehab. I did it with a little help from Suboxone.. That is what saved my life. Now I'm 13yrs clean from everything. Wish she would want to too.

I've seen her for a while now and I thought the last time she was on her death bed. I recall she had really bad sores on her head as well almost grey skin. This is her life living off enablers,just I did 17 years ago, but we do recover.
