Really nice study. I enjoyed watching you paint and as a fellow landscape painter. I think you do a magnificent job on this painting. It’s beautiful.✌️👍
Enjoyed this very much. Thank You. liked how you used, a photo/video of your Pallett, The picture, and your painting/video as you worked it. So many artists/painters miss showing this, so you really have no idea as to how they arrive at the painting they are doing... Makes a huge difference being able to see your process. have watched this over and over, this is one I have saved to be able to see the process again. Thank You.
Thank you for sharing your talent. I originally saw this video about a year ago. Now, after another year of plein air painting, I admire your ability to create a painting of light and interest even more Thanks! Subscribed.
You are AMAZING, and your calm instruction is so relaxing and enjoyable! Thank you for posting this Diamond in the Rough(a little Aladdin terminology there. Idk, weird, um…)
Hi John...I just watched your demo. It is spectacular. just the type of style I love,.Would you do more of these soon please. I look forward to seeing new things.. thank you so much,.. Diane Rose
Thank you for the magic! I saw in another video where you just sprayed leftover acrylics and just shut it. But are you using the sponge underneath and new paper every time? Also, thank you for showing both on site and in studio touch ups.
I really loved seeing this today. I have wanted to make acrylics look at least as good as oils. You are great at this. Thank you.
Loved watching you and great result John.

Glad you liked it
Where can i buy one of those portable easles you use?
Beautiful. Is this acrylic?
Yes
What material do you use to draw?
Pls add turkish subtitles ❤
i am new here, your art is pretty. is it oil or acrylic?
Thanks for sharing this. You mentioned how the drawing (or underpainting?) was already drying...was that acrylic and the remainder in oil?
when you use a lot of turpentine in the sketch, the layer dries quickly
@@emanuelhenrique1390 Very true. Hadn't considered that.
John paints exclusively in acrylic
It is acrylic.
That's true
Ich würde mir so wünschen, einen deutschen Untertitel zu haben, um zu verstehen, was du erklärst. Schade. Wie zum Beispiel mischt du die Farben.
isn't is just a waste of paint to do all that blocking in?
It is the foundation that establishes all the steps that follow.
A waste to block in? What are you talking about?
Amazing art work thank you for sharing.
My pleasure 😊
