With all pedal demos, its best just to play a chord or a few notes clean so we can hear what the pedal is actually doing. I have no idea whether this was DI'ed to the desk or whether the amp behind you is playing and affecting the sound. The sound is good, however I cannot ascertain from this video what this gear would do for my setup. Close, soooo close! :o)
What is the point in overdrive pedals? Surely it just means you have to always play through the clean channel on your amp, when your amp may have a really nice distorted channel?
If you're using an amp without channels, as I do, it helps to give you a gain boost for lead stuff. Also, I do not like the sound of full-on distortion, I prefer to always be just a little bit crunchy -- I use overdrive to boost the intensity of that crunch, without going into actual distortion territory. There's lots of great subtle uses for the things.
Single channel amps benefit from pedals like this. I play in a band that plays clean songs and dirtier stuff on stage and changing between master volume and pre amp volume in between songs can be a hassle. Kicking on one of these is far, far simpler especially since the SL Drive actually does a pretty good job of emulating a Super Lead with lower gain and a JCM800 with the higher gain stuff. It obviously won’t be the actual amp but for a fraction of the price it does an extremely good job 🤘🏽
One of the points is it gives a different type of overdrive tone to the one on your amp or adds overdrive to a single channel amp or even gives you the opportunity to dial in a soft & heavier distortion that then can be used together giving you 3 stages of overdrive. Just a few options by using a pedal as well as the amp, hope this helps.

デザインもカッコイイ!!
Looks like it's the Paul's Guitar model
I'm willing to bet its the PRS amp behind Art (possibly a PRS 2 Channel "H" amp) thats being used.
Lewis Nancy Gonzalez Brian Hall Scott
I think it is a Badcat
Please tell us what amp was used for the demo.
What type of PRS is being used?
