Very Awesome stuff, I hope once it hits stable you plan on doing a build series with Space Stations. I know you already did the Asteroid Base thing, but maybe you could theme it different, like build a Gladiator Arena... in SPAAAAACE!
i completely forgot that unstable build was a thing. now i have something to mess around in and something to do legit. cause i have terrible self control and cant help but cheat in single player games. this should help alot
It only takes 100 fuel by default to travel anywhere in the universe, and if you use coordinates to find a star halfway across the universe, it still only takes 15 seconds of FTL travel to get there.
You should expect some bugs. After all, there's a reason why it's called "Starbound _Unstable."_ It's far from being fully implemented. I'm pretty sure they'll take care of it soon, as it's a pretty big and obvious bug. Or they simply didnt complete most of the missions yet. Either way, they're working on it.
If we don't get a way to craft those directional rail platform elevator things, I will be very disappointed in Chucklefish... until someone makes a mod for it of course.
Nah I don't mean the rails. I mean that little elevator-like thing with the arrows on it that was on the space station. The up arrow lit up when he went up, so I assumed it's a full 4-way directional, controllable elevator.
hmmm I've been long since playing this game again. but my progress was already quite far previously, finished the main story and collected lot of armors. should I start over again or just continue from my last char?
I really hope they lower the costs for these things. I get that they're supposed to be expensive (and I totally understand that), but if building a few, tiny rooms requires me to mine ores for hours upon hours, I'd rather just turn the ores into pixels and use them for something else.
Frackin Universe miner bees can be set up to provide gigantic amounts of the metals you need. Even more-so now with item transfer devices enabling you to fully automate the whole system down to automatic smelting and transfer. Edit: I do agree though that in vanilla you got a situation of "awesome but impractical and thus useless" with space stations. You practically have to cheat to pull it off.
+Endertrot Actually, the fastest way to get pixels is to just get a spear with the ability rocket spear, drink alien juice and fly around in asteroid fields. Mine the ores, and then sell them. You get loads of money. That's also what I was referring to in my first comment. You get waaay more money with this method than with any farm (exept for maybe the perfectly generic armor farm, but you need hours to get this one aswell.) You can get rich by doing this. I'd rather turn the ores into pixels and buy some cool stuff like some XS/ZZ mechs. It might be worth it if they add some more useful features, but at the moment its just easier (and cheaper) to build a colony in an asteroid field.
thanks :D although i can't take credit for zz, as that was entirely Zima's baby only part of it i did was making Tau draw correctly, and showing him how to add the health bars
me, "hopes that i dont need to use the modules to get air in my custom build asteroid base"....# me "i hope that asteroid fields dont get overridden so i can finally continue building this monument of floran reverse engineering" me "if none of that will be true i will be acutally gone for the game"
If it's very hard to upgrade your mech, what will be the point of doing it? I found the game became tremendously boring, action wise, at the end. I think the game needs some kind of more frequently occurring super enemies, or some kind of planetwide threat, like planets that are being attacked, or some kind of giant fabled monster like a raid monster that takes a long time to kill but drops lots of stuff.

i completely forgot that unstable build was a thing. now i have something to mess around in and something to do legit. cause i have terrible self control and cant help but cheat in single player games. this should help alot
I want a mod that replaces the goods with Spore's spice colors, for maximum nostalgia

Anyone knows coordinates? I need back to accomplish a mission!
what r the coordinates for the quest?
Is this starbound unstable or regular?
what are the coords for that crazy system?
How do I get a transponder vendor?
I fucking love your voice, mind the language I needed to portray my feelings
lol ikr his voice is like a dream
A northern-English dream
sounds like a cross of the dude who narrates "look around you" and Attenborough :)
I merely subbed for your voice and accent... please don't judge me x3
What are the coordinates
I have a bug in the unstable build where most quests from NPC's don't work and it's really annoying. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Pro tip. The way to remove those expansion gates is to place a wall behind it and it will disappear

Mas Fugo You might aswell just continue, as your save doesn't get wiped or anything ^^
i scanned the terminal, now i know what is this.
I have 5 mechanics who made my ship use no fuel at all
Long vertical shaft
100 views and counting great video as always
Spaaaaaaaace Jam
I can't get this update on my computer. Is something wrong?
Are you using the unstable version?
Troy Taschler Omfg I feel so stupid now.
Very funny 👍
hey just to let you know i did a live thing on it in god mode but this is so cool on space stations hehe
In my Space Station I have a room full of dumpsters, but sadly no Dumpstermobile. :(
Can't u just go I to admin mode?
You should probably finish watching the video before commenting.
you should call this video first impressions

Bill Cipher buy the metals from Ursa miner
+Endertrot
That's even more expensive...
Bill Cipher pixel farm, mate. Grow crops, make a poptop farm, etc. it's shorter than mining anyways...

I wonder,Does he ever pay attention to what the npcs do and say?
here since this had 8 likes and 79 views #earlybird
I like XS and ZZ mechs better
thanks :D
although i can't take credit for zz, as that was entirely Zima's baby
only part of it i did was making Tau draw correctly, and showing him how to add the health bars
love your mod though - mechs are so fun and useful.
Very versatile mechs. I am a large supporter of your mods.
0:41 You fucking what m8? How can you not have even a bar of games most common and useless material?
I know how to get everything free in Starbound all you have to do is type in admin in commands
me, "hopes that i dont need to use the modules to get air in my custom build asteroid base"....#
me "i hope that asteroid fields dont get overridden so i can finally continue building this monument of floran reverse engineering"

Holy expanding is pricy

we need daily bosses to defeat and get loot. rare weapons, clothes etc.
