You are total package of not only great artist but also excellent teacher! I'm an adult beginner and listen and practice every day watching your channel. I watched your playing Bach Prelude #6 and it is one of the most beautiful piece ever! You exude with artistic talent with beautiful performance and confidence. Your channel is such a precious jem! Thank you so much for your dedication for this channel.
I've only been playing for almost 13 months now and working toward my grade 2. I set myself a New Years goal of playing for an hour each day but then found myself trying to fulfil the time slot but putting little quality into it. Now I play when I can but not always everyday but I try to focus more on what I want to achieve from each session. Your videos have been very helpful and I've just subbed.
Thanks for those 5 tips! they help us pay attention on individual aspects of a fine playing. It is so easy to rush through scales, check it done from out practice list and move on, without benefit from it. I will put a note with all 5 tips on the cover of my scale book.
I really, really want to take in-person lessons with you! I live near San Francisco though, so that's not going to happen! :-) Thanks you so much for your videos, I love them!
I do teach online to someone from SF! But it’s not for everyone of course. Pity, who knows one day I’ll visit SF! :-) thank you so much for your encouragement, really happy that you love them!
Thanks once again for this video! Its quality is excellent, as usual. But I was wondering : where can I find the best fingerings for scales (3 octaves, the ones i am practising). Are there different fingerings? Thanks.
Wonderful tips. I'm not sure what word you're using for Tip #4 - anticipation? It's clear what you want to convey, I'd just like to know the exact word. Thank you again for a concise video.

Strong fingers give a beautiful clear sound😊, while jelly fingers give a yucky whining sound.😖 Strong fingers it is!☺️
