This video just makes me so happy. This is probably one of the catchiest songs I've heard in a while, and I'm not ashamed to sing this out loud or blast it in the car while I'm driving. This cover's just great, and nowww it's one of my favorites ever.

he's not just playing the beat. he's adding in little fills and touches that enhance the song alot. just because you can't notice it doesn't mean they're not there..

thanks so much! 2 things- 1... it can be learned. I did not have great groove or feel when i was beginning and 2... you are what you listen to and play with. The way i grew my groove and feel was to study music and play along with drummers who have great groove and feel. i analyzed their playing and copied exactly what they did until i was able to match their groove and feel. keep the back beat solid no matter what you're playing. it grounds the pocket. everything you play should be based there

it depends on the song. I used the Chad Smith signature snare in this song. My favorite is the Ludwig Black Beauty and i also really like the Joey Jordison signature snare.
