I bet when you get the 3 original wheels back and you look at the directional arrows you'll find the front o/s one is missing not the n/s. That's had a hard knock on the front o/s and there's more to straightening that steering than a 4 wheel alignment!
Roughest one I have seen and it even looks really tired for a 17 plate. A massive money pit and one that’s not been loved. I think the mileage will check out but I think the owner knows more than he’s letting on. Still it will be great content and a good car once finished. BMW are known for having mileage blockers installed that wear on the seats, the steering, the keepers all don’t relate to a car with that mileage, but Calvin strikes again with more content. Can’t wait to see the outcome😂
I picked up a 2016 m135i for 8k, 7 prev owners with millage of 21k. I found the millage blocker plugged into the cluster. I sold it at "26k", it's now on "40k" according to last mot.
@@ElliottSix it is mad mate u sound like u touched lucky I don’t know if there is away of digging in the ecu but am certain they are ghosted so they can’t be traced, my mate had a 140i with one on and pressed the stalk to alter how much mileage it records
@@chriss8142 Way to check is read the gearbox ecu as it also records the millage and compare it against the cluster (recorded in KM so convert). Think you press or hold the BC button to enable the blocker stuff but I couldn't figure it out lol, needed to remove as it was causing canbus faults when I was flashing and coding the cars modules. Was the only reason how I found it was because I was being kicked out during any coding so started ripping the electrics apart to see what was wrong

I think youre right about the mileage 35 k 8 owners the overall wear on the car is bad for that millage . First owner probably had a plug in millage blocker . And all will be revealed once you get that ecu read . Fingers crossed its not been tampered with .
I'd say that mileage is correct it will have done alot of short journeys, it's had its arse kicked but then again what Bmw M car hasn't, i think it be a simple fix the not driving straigght like a bend front arm, you got to face facts it is a nice looking motor
tbh it just sounds like a lot of young people have had it who couldn't really afford to have it/maintain it - It doesn't necessarily mean its a right off of a project - just some simple repairs/service etc and it could be a good runner

An M4 that has been driven properly and maintained well (ie serviced regularly, warmed up properly before being driven hard, generally not being ragged all the time everywhere etc) should not have failing turbos. So the fact this one had one go says everything about its former keepers and general maintenance.
MOT history look looks well dodgy. First MOT says mileage unknown! Never seen that on an MOT ever. I’d say it’s had a mileage blocker very early in its life as it shows less than 10k on its 2021 MOT.

Hi Cal, I actually have a two sets! Both shadow line 666. One set on winter tyres the other with decent PS4s. Perfectly balanced as I did 183mph on my way to Stuttgart! Therein lies the problem! I’d have to spin up to you to deliver! I’m 1000km away so it’ll only take me 7.5 hours! All joking aside DHL said €220 to ship them to Dublin.
This content is gonna epic. I think the car is superb. Two new canards from CT carbon £200 Four wheel alignment £120 Gear lever off ebag( go carbon rather than silver) 20 inch 666 oem I’d say £2k ish Bolster paint by leather specialist £100 The only nasty expanse is an OEM battery But the fact the crank hub, charge pipes and turbos are fresh is worth huge money, circa £7k Try to find out what crank hub was installed and it’s not just a capture plate.

Just remembered that the reason why the steering could be off is the it needs as new tie rod as it could be seized. I got mine aligned and they had to use a blow torch to un seize it. Fast forward 6 months I had the rear differential seal done under warranty(€15 part) €1200 job from Bmw! They couldn’t finish the alignment as they insisted on changing the tie rod(€300) so mine currently pulls slightly to the left so they are going to take it back and do it again It still pulls hard to 300km/h in 6th gear though! lol
Just because car vertical says its not had accident damage doesn't mean it hasn't been damaged its only recorded if it goes through the insurance, my guess is that it has been crashed and for whatever reason the insurance was voided, then has been repaired on a shoestring budget and sold on.8 owners only driven on a Sunday ( yeah round a race track ) 30k miles? this car has more red flags than a Chinese military parade, i think he would have even taken less for it just to get rid.
It's not always good to speculate on the down side, I know if I was looking for an M4 Comp. I'd walk away from this one. We are all now invested to see how this turns out so a big win for us a we get to see Will's magic at VRS. I’ve owned my m2 for 7 years and covered 31k, absolutely immaculate and never had a fault with it. This M4 is very tatty, car vertically won’t show if it’s had a mileage blocker fitted.
Jeez....so many alarm bells ringing with this car. I wouldn't be surprised if it's had a knock on the front passenger side with the paint, headlight and pulling. On the upside, if anyone can turn it around Calvin can 👍
People buy these cars like M4s C63s and don't have the money to keep them up to spec. These cars are big money to look after. 8 Owner car , bought and ragged to death. Cheap OBD maps are a big no no straight away on a proper performance car. Like a lottery tune
Sometimes you had to just take a punt 🙂. Might have had a mileage blocker, maybe not. Get a single 666m wheel, refurb them, body work bits are easy fix, good detail , get it driving straight, battery and new gear stick and good to go, gona make some nice content this , Yas Marina Blue cleans up well , looking forward to seeing the updates
id say because its had a front ender, the bumper has clearly been painted, comp wheels missing, doesn't drive true, and headlight will have have a crack in it somewhere from impact and be letting moisture in...... easy to see through the lies.

Battery just needs coding to the car, BMW's charging varies on the age of the battery. So it wont be charging the battery properly hence the code. 4 wheel alignment can be done anywhere like kwik fit, national tyre, ATS etc.
Why does someone spend thousands on mods for a car, but it doesn’t have an up to date service, doesn’t drive straight, wrong battery and tyres are nearly bald… but spend thousand in making it 600bhp 🤔 I’ve seen so many cars with aesthetic and performance mods, but not the basic maintenance a car like that needs and deserves. It’s such a f***ing odd approach to premium car ownership 🫤

Just bought an orange M4 with ultra low miles this week at auction so somewhat invested in this too, albeit mine has had 3 owners.

The cars were given an auto extension of 6 months, no data was taken for any car

Hi Cal, I actually have a two sets! Both shadow line 666. One set on winter tyres the other with decent PS4s. Perfectly balanced as I did 183mph on my way to Stuttgart! Therein lies the problem! I’d have to spin up to you to deliver! I’m 1000km away so it’ll only take me 7.5 hours! All joking aside DHL said €220 to ship them to Dublin.

The only nasty expanse is an OEM battery
But the fact the crank hub, charge pipes and turbos are fresh is worth huge money, circa £7k
Try to find out what crank hub was installed and it’s not just a capture plate.

I'd be worried about the steering rack on that, could be £2k+. hopefully its ok though and will make a nice car for a new owner.
Just remembered that the reason why the steering could be off is the it needs as new tie rod as it could be seized. I got mine aligned and they had to use a blow torch to un seize it.
Fast forward 6 months I had the rear differential seal done under warranty(€15 part) €1200 job from Bmw!
They couldn’t finish the alignment as they insisted on changing the tie rod(€300) so mine currently pulls slightly to the left so they are going to take it back and do it again
It still pulls hard to 300km/h in 6th gear though! lol

Just because car vertical says its not had accident damage doesn't mean it hasn't been damaged its only recorded if it goes through the insurance, my guess is that it has been crashed and for whatever reason the insurance was voided, then has been repaired on a shoestring budget and sold on.8 owners only driven on a Sunday ( yeah round a race track ) 30k miles? this car has more red flags than a Chinese military parade, i think he would have even taken less for it just to get rid.

It's not always good to speculate on the down side, I know if I was looking for an M4 Comp. I'd walk away from this one. We are all now invested to see how this turns out so a big win for us a we get to see Will's magic at VRS. Thanks Calvin, I think personally the guy was gutted to let it go but has arrived at that situation of cutting his losses. Who amongst us has not been at this point in their motoring life? I look forward to seeing it unravel, good or bad.
I’ve owned my m2 for 7 years and covered 31k, absolutely immaculate and never had a fault with it. This M4 is very tatty, car vertically won’t show if it’s had a mileage blocker fitted.
Jeez....so many alarm bells ringing with this car. I wouldn't be surprised if it's had a knock on the front passenger side with the paint, headlight and pulling. On the upside, if anyone can turn it around Calvin can 👍

Might have had a mileage blocker, maybe not. Get a single 666m wheel, refurb them, body work bits are easy fix, good detail , get it driving straight, battery and new gear stick and good to go, gona make some nice content this , Yas Marina Blue cleans up well , looking forward to seeing the updates

id say because its had a front ender, the bumper has clearly been painted, comp wheels missing, doesn't drive true, and headlight will have have a crack in it somewhere from impact and be letting moisture in...... easy to see through the lies.

The alarm bells are ringing and for sure this car is a punt but we all know you will make it the head turner that it deserves to be. Calvin I owned my F82 from new 9'000 miles and was treated like a baby, it still had wear on the seat in the same place.
That steering wheel looks like its seen 100k miles, it shines brighter than Kojaks noggin.

Tie rod ends will be the issue on steering. Like another guy said, local garage couldn’t even un-seize mine with a blowtorch so bad to replace them.

Battery just needs coding to the car, BMW's charging varies on the age of the battery. So it wont be charging the battery properly hence the code. 4 wheel alignment can be done anywhere like kwik fit, national tyre, ATS etc.
There is no way that mileage is right and you would nearly think the car is twisted
Why does someone spend thousands on mods for a car, but it doesn’t have an up to date service, doesn’t drive straight, wrong battery and tyres are nearly bald… but spend thousand in making it 600bhp 🤔
I’ve seen so many cars with aesthetic and performance mods, but not the basic maintenance a car like that needs and deserves. It’s such a f***ing odd approach to premium car ownership 🫤

A telecoms installer with an M4 way out his budget. Impossible to have 35k miles with 8 owners it's had a mileage blocker on more like 80k+

Something not right with this. Get it properly diagnosed and interrogate other control units as these will keep a record of the true mileage.
Can’t wait for this been after a yas marina blue m4 for the past 2 years but haven’t got the funds while saving for a house, glad you bought it even if I don’t win cant wait for the content 👌

Daft to think that when you want to free up cash, you’d loose out on between 3-4K extra for the sake of £600 or thereabouts for a decent pair of tyres, the right battery & a proper 4 wheel alignment 🤦🏻♂️
