To me it sounds like everyone was at this party and then in walked Bud and that's when the party really began. Then each solo is a different person at the party's experience kicking it with Bud and talking about what a cool cat he is.
Domo Branch swings and comps time with gorgeous melodic phrasing that doesn't get in the way. He's got huge dynamic control like Brian Blade. He is unique! He is playful with great technique always in service of the groove. His sense of melody on the drums while he comps with soloists is like a fresh hot New Orleans homemade BBQ sandwich... delicious. What a monster! My new favorite drummer. Bravo! Great band! Subscribed.❤️🥰🌹👏👏👏👏👏
even though im a saxophonist player, i really enjoyed the work of the drummer. He adapted so well through the whole song and shined in his own way. Good job!!

Somebody please get the bass player a piezo pickup so that the audio tech can mix him louder without worrying about the bleed from the horns. Beautiful playing all around regardless.

I like it how the drummer is looking at the rest of the band while playing , I think it strenghthens te musical coherence.
