She sings from the heart and everything is beautiful from her. I understand why you always cry when she sings, she is on a much higher level than anyone her age who is a singer. Knowing her disease and still pushing her voice to the limit, if you can be a genius in singing she is well on her way. I guess I am also emotional when it comes to Emma and her singing.
If you doubted it, she IS a Fairy Princess. You have seen it. Her confidence is astonishing. Remember her singing Voila. She comes on stages and whispers : Listen to me. And everybody does. The 15 year old, tinny girl is in control.
She is just a great performer. Thanks for your reaction, as always straight to the point. By away, Emma is also next year ( 2025 ) going on world tour with André Rieu and his orchestra. Another chance for you to meet her live.
Wonderful reaction to Emma as always! Not only Emma, but YOU as well bring my emotions out. You are so real and I love it. I think Emma has an amazing future. I can not pick which one is the best. They are all amazing. I like that she actually spoke to the crowd in Dancing on the Stars. She has grown and matured well. I am a fan of yours as well. God Bless You! 🙏❤🙏
Like you, I absolutely adore Emma, and believe she is destined for greatness in the world of music. Having said that, she is a human being and not always perfect. Before I get into any criticisms, however, I want to point out that Emma does not choose to perform easy songs. All of the songs she has performed in the last year that I am aware of, require great technical ability, and she has performed them magnificently. It cannot be emphasized enough that she is only 16 years old, and already singing with a top-tier arsenal of formidable vocal skills and abilities. She will get even better over the next few years. Emma herself has said that she reviews all of her performances after the fact to assess where she might do better in the future. She's a very smart girl. A couple of things she might identify here: at the very end of 'When You Wish Upon a Star' her vibrato seemed to falter ever so slightly, but noticeably. Also, she appeared not to be using a mic cover, and there were a number of points in the performance where her breathing was clearly picked up by the microphone. Lastly, in the song 'Journey to the Past', she seemed to have difficulty getting the word 'fear' out clearly and with the emphasis the song calls for... 'no one ever mentions 'fear' '. What do you think? Am I making too much of relatively minor mishaps? I am certainly no expert, but I have been trying to learn what qualities and attributes make great female singers. It has become something of a passion of mine since becoming aware of Emma. Overall, I loved this performance. This is just the kind of performance in which Emma excels, and it showed. She was clearly enjoying herself being able to move about the stage and have greater intimacy with her audience. I hope to see many more performances from Emma like this in the future. Writing this comment was not easy. I am so emotionally invested in Emma's career that even a hint of criticism from others causes me anxiety. How much more when the criticism is my own? I just want her to be the best she can possibly be, and that's not nothing. She could be one of the best ever.
I think that Emma is at her best when wearing a headset microphone as she always does at the concerts with Andre. It prevents most times "plopping etc" and gives her the freedom to express. A handmicrophone disturbs also a little bit her natural elegance of her face ( my personal opinion), because I like very much how she expresses and her whole stage presence.
@Herka5420 I agree completely. 👍 Have you seen the clips of her performance on Fred and Friends? She is not using a headset, but she is moving about the stage and interacting with her audience. This how I love to see Emma performing. This, I think, is when she is happiest.
@@exeter1588 I saw a little piece (short clip) of the show on You Tube, but is was not very clear. Do you have a link to a better registration of that show??? Maybe it will come because tonight is the second show of Fred and Friends. I have a still hope. Her version of Dancing on the Stars was very different for what i saw and heard in that clip. Moving and interacting with the audience is fantastic to see. Her self-confidence is growing and growing.
IMAGINE 🤍 This song means a lot to me especially during these times. And it made even more special because I shared the stage together with @tjoosterhuis and my brother @enzokok 🥺
Ho Bliss, thank you for the great reaction on Emma's beautiful performance. It's hard to pick a favorit song from Emma, I enjoy every single one very much. From when she just started (Oppertunity from Shea) to Raise me up and Father, for the last one I wished there would be a better recording, it's so beautiful.❤❤
Yes, Emma is one of those young singers who can proudly stand next to the very best. Her most recent news; on October 21, 2025, she will have her very own show in the prestigious Royal Theatre in Amsterdam. Then she will be 17 years of age. Emma announced it yesterday (October 24) in an interview and on her instagram. She is so looking forward to this. And guess what happened: in about 3 hours time SOLD OUT.... I really can not remember a singer in the Netherlands being as popular as Emma is now. It absolutely is stunning. At the end of the interview Emma did a wonderful arrangement from John Lennons 'Imagine', and again: she did make it hers. Not butchered but respectfully changed a bit. It is to be found on RUclips. Max (the Dutch broadcaster) has put the song in a seperate video on RUclips. Just search: Emma Kok Imagine, and it will pop-up.
Hello Bliss, just saw on Dutch tv that Emma Kok is going on tour with Andre Rieu in 2025 and she’s going to give a performance in Amsterdam in 2025. I just thought I would let you know ( just in case you’re still looking to go and see her live). Greetings
Emma is very good, thank you for looking at her and finding her quality that's there. Please look also even only at this song as sung by the other Dutch-born singer, Amira Willighagen, who performed this song three years ago in a streamed concert during the lockdown for US veterans, to mark 20 years since 9/11. Amira has been singing publicly for 11 years, is 20 years old this year, studying first year of music at Pretoria's university in South Africa where her mother is from and they have lived for six years now. Amira won Holland's Got Talent in 2013, at age 9, with "Nessun Dorma" in the final, and started public singing with André Rieú, age 10.
I, and many others with me, are afraid that she will be "swallowed up" by Disney... It is very beautiful how she sings, it couldn't be better.. But... So created the atmosphere with the applause and the orchestra alternating with cartoons... Luckily..... she has signed another year with Andre Rieu to gain even more experience and to tour the world. That does mean that she has a heavy agenda. Then there are the Christmas concerts in Maastricht, the "Disney" spectacle of Andre Rieu in December in the MEC Maastricht an empty, bare, congress center that is transformed into a Christmas atmosphere with ice rinks, skaters, a Christmas village, artificial snow. chandeliers etc. etc. With 10,000 visitors per concert a real must for Andre lovers. On January 4 she will sing again as a guest at Disney in Concert in Amsterdam after which she will be back in Amsterdam on January 11 with Andre Rieu with the new program of Andre. After that they will continue their tour. If all goes well they will finally be back in Maastricht in July with 12 sold out concerts already
But I'm afraid that Andre will swallow her. It's monotonous repetition of the same thing hundreds of times - I don't think she needs that experience any more. I'd like her to have more freedom to develop further.
@@Elenium-h7h You have to dig a little deeper in her physical condition. She is connected to her pumps until she goes on stage and goes back on immediately after. She shows energy but has to be very sparingly with it of stage. With Andre everything is perfectly organised, she is protected and guarded by a full orchestra. To be in Andre's team is the best and above all, the safest place for her to be. They travel the world and she sings for millions. What more experience can she get. Don't underestimate her limitations. And for being only 16 years old, she knows very well what she wants and CAN. Andre for her is God send.
@@Elenium-h7h Dear Elenium, You are right in a way, however I don't think this will happen, Emma knows exactly what she wants and does in this.... It will be a bit ''safer'' with Andre than with the great Disney where she will disappear into anonymity. And don't forget that she unfortunately has a disability, which she has to take into account. But who are we, who have to decide for her what she does. In that respect it is still her own choice. We will see what will happen after this year....
@@Elenium-h7h You have to consider her physical condition, which is not simple and limits her possibilities. In Andre's team she can sing, travel the world and is taken care of. I think she is strong minded enough not to be swallowed. Dansing on the stars was her selection. She is surrounded by professional musicians. Don't forget, she has to go to the school. Or get private education and the members of the orchestra help her with it.
You still need to do Emma’s Dancing On The Stars, which is over a month old now. Better than Voila, other than they let the orchestra get too loud which was starting to drown her out. Sorry, I totally forgot you did it already. Went to your channel and saw you already reacted to it. One more thing. Most reactors forget about her last years Christmas concerts. Awesome videos there as well. White Christmas where she is not dressed up like Mrs. Clause, is one of her better ones but they are all great.

Can Emma PLEASE sing the main songs of ALL future Disney movies? She’s MADE for this 🥹😍🤩
I agree but I have not heard her sing more than 2 songs. I think that is her physical limit.
