Arcane season 1 was PHENOMENAL! Season 2 will be the last season. What's your reaction and any predictions?
Hello BaddMedicine, I was wondering if yall can react to a tv series name "from" season 1 and 2. Yall wont be disappointed☺
I hope you guys react to the League of Legends Cinematics to see how vast the world is in Runeterra.
It will be the end for piltober and they going to announce another series with different region
My predictions:
1. Shit's about to go down.
2. The soundtracks will be amazing.
3. This will be the best show of this year.

Co-creator Christian Linke said in a statement, “Arcane is just the beginning of our larger storytelling journey and partnership with the wonderful animation studio that is Fortiche.” “From the very beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in mind, which means the story of Arcane wraps up with this second season. But Arcane is just the first of many stories that we want to tell in Runeterra.”
This is the last season for Arcane, but Riot said they will do more shows what will include other parts of Runeterra (the world what the story of Arcane and Leage of Legends in general plays in).
Came here to say this. If you are a league player what story are you hoping for. Feel like the boys would like something from Noxus but I want a Xayah and Rakan Ionia based story so bad
Plus there is a chance for these characters to be in the other spin-offs but just minor roles.

This is just for piltover. I heard after this season they will go to other places, so the show might not be called arcane, but it’ll still be league of legends. More stories to come, that’s just it for the 2 sisters 😢

I hated that I waited until this year to watch the first season, but I'm so glad I don't have to wait as long as the people who watched as it aired. 💜

I watched Arcane as soon as it came out but the wait didn't seem that long, I don't know when three years passed.
I watched it a day after Act 3, so I was able to binge watch it. I managed to save myself from spoilers. After watching S1 as a whole, I then realized how agonizing it would've been if I waited for 1 Act per week

I had goosebumps watching the teaser, but I also felt extreme sadness seeing how the two sisters, who used to love each other so much, ended up like this. I just know that this season's going to break my heart.

The guy with his hands up was singed the doctor who saved jinx and was friends with viktor in season 1.
He's playable in the game, did some terrible thing in the old lore and something huge this season as well (the dog) . He's a pretty big deal so I have to reply to bump this up!

the "mutated chihuahua" is a chem-baron. he is sitting between the other barons when silco pulled off his gas-show in season 1 ep 7

@@Bait154 he really does look like a mechanized yordle, and if he is, it's kinda funny that he made himself taller with those machine legs. But at the same time, I thought yordles were supposed to be wholesome with the exception of Vex (but even she isn't evil, just depressed). Also there is Veigar, but he went crazy over centuries of isolation and being forced to do dark magic.

So for the chapter and season confusion the story for these characters will be finished after this season hence “the final chapter.” However, they will continue to explore even more characters in future seasons found within the games universe

they already confirmed they're working on more stuff and are still working with that animation studio... so we 100% have more coming, just different places and characters. they said they'd HOPEFULLY have something to tease by the end of the year.

@@BaddMedicine There are other regions, it's a big continent. Mel's mum is from a region called Noxus, who are an imperialist empire like the Romans. They're the soldiers wearing red and black like Mel's mum and why she was there to ask Mel to try and get Piltover to join them in season 1. There's not "a whole story" instead there's different regions with about 160 different 'champions' from League. Arcane is just about a few characters from Piltover/Zaun. They said they're going to make series about other regions and characters eventually too.
@@BaddMedicineYeah, Runeterra (The world's name) has 10,000+ years worth of history. Of course Arcane is happening in the present, but there's also several cool and interesting stories spanning from hundreds to thousands of years ago.

I think it's more likely to go into the Zed/Shen/Jhin/Kayn/Akali/Kenen story arc, as that plotline dives into multiple aspects of Ionia's lore (The Noxian invasion, the demon infestation, the importance of balance in Ionia's culture & ecosystem, the threat of emerging technologies interfering with Ionia's outdated reliance on nature and so on.)

Its the end of Jinx and Vi's story, but they have said that they will do more stories for other characters/regions.
I'm betting the council is dead...from a certain point of view. The German subtitle for that line in the teaser is "Half the council is dead."

@@tilltronje1623 Maybe. I don't know at what point in the process the subs are added. It's possible the voiceover script is more recent, or even done ONLY for the teaser, and the German subtitles are from an earlier draft...but that's a pretty substantial difference. What would be telling is an actual foreign teaser with the voiceover in another language.

It's extremely obvious that not everyone is dead, not only writing wise, but also because of the game, same with people believing it's the end and there won't be more(more runeterra). It's silly to think that.
The real question is if Mel survived or not, she's the only one on a grey area. I say she's dead, but i really hope she isn't.

The wolf with the claws at 7:47 people suspect is Vander, Singed (the bald doctor) took his body and mutated it to turn him into a monster after he drank shimmer and became massive. If you guys saw the first look video at season 2 it focused solely on Singed experimenting on Vander (Warwick is his name) it’s about a minute long clip and I’d highly recommend
The mutated chihuahua is a Yordle. Same race as Heimerdinger.
They barely show Jinx because they know she's the most popular one and I'm here for it! Jinx got a statue built for her and I'm very proud of her if you see from where she started as Powder!

it was pretty cool to see how much more angry caitlyn is in just the teaser (cuz if you remember her mother was on the council and jinx just blew up all the council members)
Very glad to see this is the final season for Arcane myself. Means they can wrap this up and move on to one of the other amazing stories Riot has on it's shelves instead of dragging this out.
The beast you guys pointed out as Snarf is another Zaun champion called "Warwick". He's a feral, hybridized werewolf created by the good doctor, Singed, who is torn between the bloodlust instilled in him and any shreds of humanity left from who he used to be... There are heavy hints of who this Hound of the Underground could be, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
Piltover/Zaun is one of like 10-12 major regions in the world of League of Legends. The planet/world is called Runeterra and there's a TON of other stories going on with the other locations.
Everyone is speculating the next piece of media they create after Season 2 will be in Noxus, the region that Mel's mom is from. They're a much more warrior-based culture rather than the scientific-based culture of Piltover. And there's like 4 or 5 different storylines/conflicts going on in Noxus that they could make a show/movie about.
Also one of the lead producers of Arcane mentioned they're already working on whatever comes next after Season 2. And they also mention "shows and film" in their announcement so it sounds like they're working on a movie set in Runeterra somewhere.
Its the last chapter in the Piltover/Zaun region w the Vi/Jinx story. More will come from other regions and other equally awesome people in the world.
I'm glad they're ending it on their terms and not stretching the story if they don't need to. LoL world is crazy and packed with interesting locations that are wildly different from one another.

I wish you guys would also watch a few LOL Cinematic (on RUclips). Just so you can understand how large the Runeterra universe is. Jinx and Vi, though a very popular story, is just like 5 percent of the universe and it’s many story lines. So it makes sense this is only 2 seasons. If they want to explore some of the other 100 plus character stories. Thanks 😊
Even the VA of jinx said that this final season is going to be emotional😢.
I want Vi to talk with ghost Vander some more. If Silco could have such an emotional impact on Jinx in season one, then Vi must conserve with Vander again. I think it’ll be very painful but cathartic for her.
It would be good for catharsis, though if some theories are right, there's a certain big old wolf man ready to tear down that catharsis with tooth and claw.

The mutated cat/dog is a Yordle, he's the same race as Heimerdinger. It's race of goblin/furry-like creatures from a magical world, who disguises themselves as human.
final chapter, not final season. They close the story of Piltover and Zaun here and move to show some other parts of the amazing world of runeterra. The game "story" is open, it's a breathing world that has so many chapters of past present and future to explore with so many settings of different cultures and styles. This can continue til we're in nursing homes

it looks like Jinx becomes some sort of symbol or figure for Zaun after attacking the council that's probably the reason for the statues and paintings
I feel there is a lof of misdirection with the trailer. Like I think that council line is cut up because I think we see a shot of viktor briefly
i can guarantee this is not the end of these shows. might be the end of Jinx and Vi story but these league of legends show will keep coming out for sure

the bullet that caitlyn shot off with her gun was using the hextech technology that jayce and victor created.
In the game, Vi is known as the Piltover Enforcer so us League gamers knows she will become a cop one day. Kinda also explains why a cop uses Gauntlets but because of the series, we now know why.
arcane ending after two seasons is the same as avatar the last airbender. we look back on it so fondly and it’s cemented itself as one of those legendary shows. i think it’ll be the same with arcane

I would recommend you guys react to other league of legends animations on youtube, those are graphically crazy and have amazing music, I’d recommend awaken, warriors, the call and still here, I think those are the best and the animation on the cinematic gets progressively better
When they were going through the trailer frame by frame, i realized how fking amazing each frame of arcane looks, ita crazy
The bald guy was the doctor (his name in the game is Singed) he made Shimmer, fed the poor cat to the mutated rat experiment in episode 1, saved Jinx medically after she blew herself up, and he was the one who met Victor as a kid and gave him a varient of Shimmer so he could survive the transmutation of the Hex Core

TLDR: This is a statue or an artwork of a goddess worshiped in Zaun named Janna. She is a powerful spirit of wind that saved Zaun in the past from an explosion of toxic gas. She brings hope to those who believe in her and does not shy away from helping her worshipers in difficult times.
Perhaps they will do other series, but set the story to other regions in the universe and under a different name. The book of Piltover/Zaun ends, but places like Freljord, Noxus, Bilgewater, Targon, Shurima and the Void will be explored next. With a increased budget they might have more series being produced at the same time from different studios. There's 160+ characters in the game, and the lore is almost infinite so there's so much more to explore.
2:59 Oh I completely agree here. The texturing in this show is amazing. It feels so natural and remember that it's all hand painted!
Do not worry about it being the final season. They already confirmed they're working on similar projects and believe me we'll all be dead before they run out of characters in this universe to tell stories as captivating as this.
No need to worry It's the final chapter for the Jinx/Vi arc, but the overall story will continue in other places and with other characters. LoL has 160+ characters and continuously increasing, and every single one of them are interesting on their own right and worth making a story about, so I have no doubt in my mind that the next project will be as high quality as the first 2 seasons.

Don't worry guys, this is only the final season for Piltover and Zaun. They will be doing future seasons I'm sure of the other league world areas, Such as Noxus where Mels family originate from.

Justice is a stretch considering it was the councils on actions that created the threat in the first place. Everybody has the right to defend themselves and fight for their liberty, but when the powers that be constantly tell you to not fight back because somehow it’s wrong, sanity is the first thing to go.
They also announced that they will release arcane as a blue ray! Thats the first time ever for an original netflix show to be released like that I think.
There is so much potential in the world they could do 15 shows that are totally unique in terms of the story. There is a theory because we already met mels mother (the military women) we might start the next show with Noxus - a nation based on "survival/victory" of the strongest. Since they start wars all over the place it would really open up the world of runeterra to the viewer.
This story is set in just 1 city in what is an entire fleshed out universe with a long history and plenty of huge stories to tell. I recommend watching some of the RUclipsr Necrit's League of Legends (or its card game Legends of Runeterra) lore videos to learn more about this amazing universe.

Riot has built an entire world with their massive cast of characters. They could make 10+ more seasons of Arcane as well as at LEAST 100 other shows.
This Serie is just a little piece of Runeterra's story( and not the most interesting in my opinion compared to the rest of course, still wonderful) so yeah Riot could have whole universe of movies and series like this if they want. There a lot to tell.😅
I hope they're just trolling in this teaser and I expect to see in the finale episode credits something like "this was the last season... of Zaun and Piltover. Next season: Noxus!!" or something like that.
It's the last season in the sense for this single show. We'll see another League of Legends show with a different title, set in a different of the world, and about different characters. It's honestly how I believe House of the Dragon should be done.

For the dude in the hat - if you're interested in how they actually made/animated this, you should really check out Bridging the Rift, which is a documentary series (pretty sure it's all on youtube) on how the show was made. It's almost as good as Arcane itself, and it's truly fascinating how much painstaking detail they went into every single facet of the show, and it really highlights Fortiche, the french animation studio responsible for the unique style.

I remember hearing that the basic plan is that each region is going to get its chance to shine in some way, and it started with Piltover & Zaun in Arcane. Considering how heavily featured Noxus/Noxian soldiers are in the trailer, I wonder if it is their way of preparing us to see Noxus in the next show? Regardless of which region they pick for the next series, I'm super excited to keep getting more League of Legends content through this medium. I've been saying for years that they need to make movies/shows based off of the ridiculously detailed lore of the game. The game is definitely not for everyone (especially when factoring in the playerbase), but the universe that they have built has been in the making for over a decade. They could pump content out for years before we see everything
I can't potentially see this show having a happy ending, either Jinx will die, Vi will die, both or the best thing they could probably do without killing anyone is having Jinx escape and run off in the finale. Either way I'd be very intrigued if they didn't force a happy ending.

I was really late to watching this show, but I didn't regret it once I started. It instantly became one of my all time favourites. So pumped for season 2.
they said FINAL SEASON NOT SERIES FINALE... this is just tying up the story of VI and JINX, remember they have a whole lot of lore in this one, so expect an upcoming different story from a different characters too in a different world/place...the world building is vast...i can't even theorize what would be the upcoming story will they make...for those people who are expert or even read all the lore might even come up a theory on who's story will be next...
Watch others contents of League of Legends, please. LoL have Cinematics and videoclips from the chatacters from Arcane, like Jinxs, Ekko, Vi, Caitlyn and others. They are beautiful and have great music.
Get Jinxed is a good start, are the first videoclip of a character from LoL, and it’s about Jinx. Really old, but really great.
I think it's possible that the "Arcane" brand may continue, but they may use it as an anthology series, similar to how Fargo or American Horror Story works.
It would be kinda dumb to ditch the branding with all of its success. But it's also important to communicate "this story ends here."
But you could use the Arcane brand in almost every story in the League Universe. The Burning Tides in Bilgewater. The Noxian Invasion in Ionia. The War of the Three in the Freljord. The Return of the Sun Disc in Shurima (or the Fall of the Ascended, for that matter).
The Ruination and birth of the Shadow Isles. The Rune Wars. Mount Targon and the Darkin.
I think the biggest candidate might be The Mage Rebellion in Demacia, which touches on some of the same themes of classism while adding a light sprinkle of xenophobic racism.
Honestly, League is full of tragedy.
I'm interested in the fact that Jayce and Viktor dont show up at all in this trailer when they were literally 50% of the first seasons storyline. Im curious to know where they will go with their story if they are hiding them from us in the teasers. (I dont think they're dead they seem too important) 🤔
I'm most excited for the new characters we might get to see this season. I mean, for us who know the game, we know about the biggest surprises (the wrath of zaun and glorious evolution wink wink) but I wonder if they'll introduce others. We got a little hint for Janna in the teaser, but what about someone like Renata Glasc? Blitzcrank? Camille? Twitch? Orianna? Seraphine? Urgot? Zeri? Maybe even Swain or Darius or LeBlanc if they wanna do the story of Noxus next? Ahhhhh so many possibilites with so many characters!!! I can't wait!!
This is the final chapter of Piltover/Zaun. It is just a city. You guys are only scratching the surface of the Runeterra's iceberg. The world have a lot of reigns and countries. Riot said that it is the beginning of the "Riot Cinematic Universe" and it will expand beyond Arcane. The world of Runeterra have over 150 characters that are as badass as Vi or Jinx or even more. As the show goes to other places, you guys will get to know more relevant epic characters.
You guys liked Mel's mother? Well, get ready then because the next probably region (Noxus, from where she came) is a spartan-like warrior country where Strength and Value in combat is what measure who are the leaders, not fancy birth heirlooms.
They are definitely going to continue with the lore. Just not on Vi and Jinx. Vi, Jinx, Jayce, Caitlyn, Viktor and WW (possible spoiler for season 2, so let's keep the name like that) are just few champions from over 150, maybe over 160 at this point.
There are returning characters mentioned in season one that only LOL players would recognize. I can't wait for yall to see Warwick, Singed, Rumble, Viktor, Swain, and Fiddles

@@TheRandomBits431Not sure what you mean by "pick it up". If you mean distribution, which is what Netflix is doing now, then they would be complete morons not to continue doing it with future shows, considering success of Arcane.
For trailer breakdowns, I'll leave that to the other commenters. As for the likely reason to Arcane only being 2 seasons, the cities this show follows, Piltover and Zuan, are part of an over arching world that has been put together over the course of 10+ years. While the universe's lore itself isn't much tied to the main game, the main game is the most known and has over 160+ playable characters many of which are very loved by the community. So Riot wants to use this as a chance to explore other regions and character's stories seeing how well Arcane did.
If you're looking for get content to react to, to also help get see the world a bit more, Legends of Runeterra (the card game) has short cinematics exploring the regions. They're short and to the point in region diversity. (I love watching reacts have a favorite region.)
Likewise, while harder to follow, League of Legends major cinematics have amazing visual and also dive into various regions a tiny bit. Cinematics like 'Awaken', 'The Call', or 'Still Here'.
My guess, and I have no idea actually this is all new for all of us. My guess is Mel had to have died because why would her mom get involved? Or seriously injured? Mel might be from the game with a different name, or the mother.
They're rewriting all of the lore to cater to the show so all of the lore we know is being changed. This is all new to us. Aside from Riot's team, I dont think anyone's in the know so I dont suspect any spoilers coming from anyone.
I know that more than 1 person on the counsel is in the game. They could very well kill of the characters from the game, they did it for one period of time (they removed someone from the champion queue and you couldn't play as them for like a month or two because their character 'died'). I'm curious to know if the counsel lives or dies ENTIRELY.
Final chapter? Of Piltover and zaun. They have 100+ more champion stories to go through, gents. This style of show is JUST THE BEGINNING.

The creature with the red eyes is probably something we know about. I think it is but we'll have to see.
There is more to come. I promise. I think I see what they're doing. There are other cities in this world, like Ionia, freljord, bilgewater. There are tons of other places including the shadow isles and the void. There's cosmos stuff that might come up. My guess is they're doing some miniseries to tell the story of those places for the game. Noxus is another one. Noxus is where mel's mom is from. They have a ton of characters from there as well. They may even be adding characters to the game from the show. There's a new character due for this time of year, we haven't had a release in some time now. They're doing something real cool with the knowledge that this is the final chapter for this.
When they say "final chapter", I believe they mean final chapter of the Vi & Jinx confrontation. They will be moving to other territories for later seasons, but I hope they still tie in these characters and don't forget them completely!
I don't know if one of them is going to die...I haven't decided whether or not the show is willing to kill champions (I guess we'll find out S2). As awesome as the show is, it will be kind of anti-climactic if thats something they won't do, because it will take away from the high stakes. As long as you know someone's a champion, then you know they're safe. I'm still extremely hyped though!!
So this is the last chapter for Piltover and Zaun/ Vi and Jinx. League has over 160 champions each with their own lore and multiple regions of Runeterra (the planet league takes place in) the number of shows and movies they could do is FARRRR from over!
Here's something different though, the polish and the German version of the trailer say " HALF of your council is dead" I don't think they'd make a translation error I'm two languages?? We obviously have to wait and see but it's something to think about
The game is entirely a multiplayer competitive game with 150+ playable characters. There is no "Story Mode". The story ONLY exists in the character descriptions (which are usually a paragraph to a page long) or in cinematics/comics/short stories etc. Arcane is adding a ton of new details and even overriding some of the lore.
Keep in mind you can be assured that you probably did not get much in the way of spoilers. The trailers for season 1 included all sorts of misdirection intentionally. Secondly, we don't know what format this season will follow but it's safe to guess it will mirror season 1 with 3 episodes dropping for three weeks for a total of 9. I definitely agree with rewatching by yourselves to refresh your memory because every time you watch it, you will notice more details you didn't before-- and I am saying that as someone who has seen it well over 20 times by herself and countless reaction videos.
Regarding League and the source material, League's lore was delivered slowly through pages of text on an alternate site than the one you play the game on and it didn't provide many details or storylines. It did, however, establish an entire complete universe with a timeline stretching from the origin of the world through many wars, disputes, births and deaths of nations and cities and more. There is no shortage of content to pull from League's universe and because it is so loosely defined, there's a plethora of ways to expand upon barely touched but fascinating conflicts and relationships like these. There's over 180 champions not counting countless non-playable characters, as well as I believe 12 regions including Piltover and Zaun. Riot Games has a partnership with the animation studio behind Arcane, Fortiche, and are planning to visit new locations across the world of Runeterra so we can expect more amazing stories like this but with whole new conflicts and characters! It's incredibly exciting for players and casual Arcane enjoyers alike and we are looking forward to many more TV series, miniseries and possibly movies done in a similar fashion.

This maybe out of context to this video but just now I binge watched your Conjuring trilogy reaction and I would recommend watching, Exorcism of Emily Rose.. this particular movie / case is so interesting. Till now no one knows if Emily Rose was truly possessed or was a mental patient and this movie makes you question so many things. Do give it a watch someday!! ✨

Now as others have already said, there's a ton of lore left, although with different characters. They've already announced they're working on a lot more (shows AND movies!). I am already looking forward to see some of the stroies from the lore to get brought to life. Unfortunately it will take a LONG time till then.
