    Craig, you should inform "Black Magic", " Mojito" too. Those are outstanding in the garden.

    Hi I’ve purchased some plants that you recommended from a previous video from other sources I wasn’t aware that we could buy from you , your video on colocasias was very knowledgeable and I will be putting in an order . I started my tropical garden last year which is doing really well .I really enjoy your channel and find it is one of the best for information and guidance regards steve 😊😊

    One of my favourite plants, Colocasia! I've had 11 species last year, but sized down a bit to 5. Only Pink China stays in the ground for now. Aloha was my favourite, but I didn't dare leave it out. The pups were to close to the mother, no bulb themselves so they didn't make it after separating them. Mother bulb was one the ones I tried drying, which I will never do again. All of them died, what I kept in pots got through winter just fine

      Yes, keeping them in pots is always one of the most reliable ways to overwinter 👍 Thanks for watching

    These are great and I also have them in my garden. Here in panhandle of Florida I also grow and have success with Mojito & Frog In A Blender variety. Have you tried these they are so cool with various forms of varigation in the leaves

      I’ve grown Mojito before but found it to be a little tricky to overwinter. Thanks for watching 😀

    Heyyyyy i did an order last night, as its getting warmer can i plant the pink china straight out, or is it best to plant in a bigger pot and grow inside?

    Hi Craig, I received the 3 pink china plug plants I ordered from you today however I am new to gardening, would you recommend the pink china plugs go straight in the ground or should they be potted? I dint have a greenhouse.

      Hello, yes we’d recommend potting them on before planting out. Here’s our guide to caring for your new plants on arrival: growparadise.co.uk/caring-for-your-new-plants/

    What’s the tiny black colocasia between blue Hawaii and Maui gold??

      That’s a smaller ‘Black Coral’ plant that I’m growing on a little more 🌱👍

    I’m in San Diego, California and majority of these are available here. If any can’t be found locally for people, you can order them, for sure. And thankfully, they are far easier to keep happy than _Alocasia_ lol

    Hi, I know this isn't a Yucca video, but do you have any tips for growing Yucca trees ?

    • @GrowParadise
      @GrowParadise  8 месяцев назад

      Hi, most Yucca need full sun and good drainage. Tender species will need protection from cold 👍

    Leucocasia gigantea would be something as well. even bigger than jack's giant, but less hardy. incredibly fast-growing even from seed
