been waiting for this video.
Don’t feel too bad about failing our citizenship test.
Not many of us local born know ourselves.
Luka... you may want to remove this. I understand you're not from the US, but this makes your short term memory quite apparent. And celebrating a guess is not the best sign of understanding.
I just wanna pont out that u said i want to get 60 and since i just took this test in school i know all u need is 60 to pass
Luka: "what does the right to bear arms even mean"
The american south: "IM GLAD YOU ASKED!!!!"
Every American has the right to a pair of bear arms.
Well isn’t that the sum of the whole debate? 🤣
😂😂😂
The right to keep and bear arms means the right to own and carry a gun. Pistols and rifles.
That triggered me so hard, I was like "dude! This the nigga out here voting Democrat!" 😂😂
Luka: Lives in an island nation
Also Luka: “I don’t know my oceans...”
@Meth Breakfast yo what the hell?
@Meth Breakfast What is wrong with you? Seems like no one taught you compassion. Not everyone knows everything, he's not from the USA either. No need to be rude.
@Meth Breakfast Yeah man, chill out a little. I was making a joke because it was ironic, not trying to single him out as dumb. There are plenty of Americans that have less geographical knowledge about their own country, not to mention he did well on those citizenship tests for someone not trying to immigrate here.
@Meth Breakfast lmao
@Meth Breakfast Ayo chill man that shits outta pocket😭💀

Who lived in the Americas before the British arrived -- Dinosaurs... well that probably ain't wrong
I noticed that too lol. I used to have quite the fossil collection that I found myself before I donated them. There were for sure dinosaurs in the US lol.
The ancient aliens theorists probably would've chosen Martians.
Euthycarcinoids felt left out
The Italian Amerigo Vespucci discovered America first. (Obviously) Then the Spanish colonized us THEN the British.

Judge Reinhold is neither a real judge nor has he received acting's highest honor.
Judge Reinhold is the name of an actor. I remember him best from the movie "Ruthless People" (1986), starring Danny Devito.

When you do a real US citizenship test to become a citizen, they usually give you a guide that you study before you take it. Luka didn't do bad at all for someone who had no study guide and went into this blind so to speak.

Luka: Ten Commandments

Fun fact: most presidents do not write their own speeches, they have speechwriters, but do give input.
Nixon is a famous example of this, with his mannerisms and way of speech not corresponding with his speeches.
Because they're all puppets and big 👃own them
Obama is one of the exceptions.
What presidents DID write their own speeches?

@@whenthedustfallsaway No it says “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The meaning of this sentence is not self-evident, and has given rise to much commentary but relatively few Supreme Court decisions. @@bulldawggirl2168 Well damn it now you went and mentioned Fight Club.
How many of you think it would be really cool if we had one?
There are two chambers to our federal legislative branch: House of Representatives and the Senate. House of Reps is dependent on population of the state, represent specific districts, and has a term length of 2 years. There are 2 members of the senate for each state and have a term length of 6 years.
This is good stuff to remember for anyone who wants to know about the US government or plans to take one of these quizzes. Congress is bicameral, just like the British Parliament with its House of Lords and House of Commons. The House gives representation by population, while the Senate gives equal representation per state. The reason for this is the more populated of the original colonies felt they should have more representation, while the less populated ones felt they should have an equal say. (Remember that the United States started off as a confederacy of states, like the European Union.)
In order to become a law, a bill has to pass a majority vote in both chambers. Then, either the President signs off on it, or vetoes it and it has to go back to Congress and receive a 2/3 (supermajority) vote. The President is the most powerful individual in the nation, but Congress as a whole is more powerful.
I'm starting to sound like a School House Rock now, so I'll stop.
@@chitlitlah I loved school house rock!
He picked parliament for one of them 🤦🏻♂️
@@chitlitlah The make-up of the Senate is more about preserving local power than about equitable distribution of power. It provides wildly disproportionate power to sparsely populated states. Originally, this was so landowners heavily reliant on slave labor could perpetuate slavery. The House of Lords reflects the same kind of Devil’s compromise between republicanism (representative democracy) and preservation of elite power.
@@vincegay986 This is not as true as it was at the founding as the 17th ammendment shifted a senator from being a state legislature representative, purely beholden to their state government to possibly be recalled at any time as well, into a 2 party system national conglomerate, which is why american politics is ever more divisive, more issues get solved in DC day by day than anywhere else. In a country of 330 million people where half disagree on anything, outsourcing all problems to one city for solutions creates frustration.
Makes sense that a Brit would confuse the American Revolution for a Civil War.
To be fair, their were American colonists fighting each other, as much as they were the British. Things got pretty ugly between Patriot and Tory (loyalist) factions.
The United States has no national Religion so it would not be Easter, whoever we do have Christmas as national federal holiday so that may have confused him.
Christmas became a lot more secular, Easter is still largely Christian
Easter is on Sunday, so there's no need for a federal holiday
@@sailorgallifrey1365 Yes. American Christmas was mainly a capitalization of Coca-Cola company on southern Christmas. Prior to that, Christmas was an obscure holiday in the Americas (and illegal in many of the colonies).
thing is, I don't think he was processing the part about "federal" holidays. Like, what the difference between federal and religious is, etc.
and Halloween is a holiday, just not a National (Federal) holiday.
"Bear arms" means carry and own a gun to protect yourself to create a well-armed militia.
Shhh...”a well-armed militia” automatically makes you a white supremacist today.
@@emanymton713 Kinda stupid it does considering gun restriction laws were aimed at black people and minorities to disarm them, if anything minorities should be for defending the 2nd amendment
It's supposed to be a well-regulated militia, not necessarily a well-armed one.
@@InsaneamI At the time it was written, "well regulated" was the normal way of saying "in proper working order" or "functional". A militia without ready access to functional and effective weapons would not have met the definition of "well regulated" during the writing of the Constitution.
It's a "well-regulated militia"...and the term militia meant the entire body of (then male) citizens capable of using arms.

It hurt me when you got the same questions wrong in the second test that you got right the first time around.
Most American's couldn't pass this test... and most of my neighbors wouldn't even understand half of the words... :D
That's facts! Lol
Honestly, most of these were pretty basic questions that Americans learn about as young as 5, so, for me, they were pretty easy to answer, and I feel like the same could be said for a lot of other Americans. Maybe it depends where you were raised. What state are you from?
I would hope not man. The questions weren't even that hard it's basic Knowledge that an american should have. Yet we have a lot of dumb dumbs here so I wouldn't be surprised neither
And many Americans want to have “pure democracy”, what a joke. Theres a reason the 12th amendment and state legislatures exist
These were pretty easy questions. There mostly taught back in grade and middle school though but Missing the national Anthem twice???!
I laughed so fucking hard when you were trying to decide between Libertarianism and Communism and then the right answer wasn’t either of them

Ngl i wish our anthem was Battle Hymn of the Republic. Good ass song
I agree. That song kicks ass and it's not hard to sing.
I like that one. I do like Star Spangled Banner but yes, it is hard to sing.
Wasn't our anthem a drunks song?
Except that it has two problematic words in the title (Battle and Hymn), and in the text, one espousing violence and the other, religion, which is kept in its rightful place by not mixing government and religion. "Glory of the coming of the Lord?" In our national anthem? "Hath loosed the fateful lightning of his terrible swift sword". Really? You may like the song---but I can't imagine that it would be appropriate as a NATIONAL anthem.
@@robertsoslow733 well considering that the religion most practiced in the US is Christianity no matter what religion I still believe it’s appropriate.

You were very quick to turn away any reactions to 9/11 when that question came up. That day runs so deep in our hearts and souls that it would almost be an honor to see your reaction to some 9/11 videos. Not necessarily random phone footage or whatever, but a short documentary on it. I think it would be a very somber yet respectful reaction.
I don't blame him for not wanting to subject himself to it. I know that actually found myself choking up every time I saw an American flag for months after it happened. I live in Texas, so those flags are everywhere here!
If he wants to, there’s a documentary called 10 years later and it focuses on two brothers who were the only ppl to get footage of the first plane and were in the buildings when they fell but they survived with the footage. It’s a really good documentary
That would make for some very depressing content and I think he's smart to stay away from it. If he wants to check it out in his own time, cool, but from a business perspective, I think it's too heavy.
He should check out the ones that have people calling from their cell phones minutes before they died.
“When was this made?”
(Clicks Mike Pence)
Kamala Harris is the correct answer
... later ...
“When was this made??”
Seriously?
Well, you say "Oh Sh*t" like a real American so you're in.
Saying slavery was not a reason for the Civil War is common rhetoric among former confederate states, but some of them cited racial supremacy and the right to own slaves in their declarations of secession so at least for those it was absolutely a reason.
You probably heard that it wasn't from someone with... let's call it an agenda.
Truth!
Also, those confederate states only seceded once it became clear that a president had just been elected who's administration would restrict the expansion of slavery.
The new rhetoric is "the civil war was about state rights!" And I just say 'ya, the states right to own slaves.' Lol!
If I remember correctly, all except one declaration of secession mentioned defending slavery. It wasn't the only reason they mentioned, but it was very much the primary reason. They believed that their way of life was dependent on slavery.
@@allengilbert7463 And there's no excuse for the revisionists to not know this since it's trivially easy to find out. They can find the full texts of the various states' "Declaration of Causes of Secession" with a quick Google search.
This is the most important wrong answer to learn.
Don’t feel bad, I’m American and I would have missed a bunch of these
Side note: “Aztec” were a small people within the larger “Mexica” (pronounced meh-hee-kah) indigenous culture. They’re the ones with the pyramids in what is now Mexico (see where the name comes from?) who performed human sacrifice as a wide scale religious ritual.
They also invented guacamole and chocolate, so pretty great on that front.
