And I doubt you believe everything the media presents to you, so be wary of their (biased) view on the Fiducia Supplicans and their need to generate revenue. All the cardinal did was summarise the Fiducia Supplicans. He is very eloquent. I pray that you (and I and others) have more faith in our pontiff, and more certainty on the core principles of Catholicism so that we do not become victoms of confusion or frustration to fairly straightforward proclamations of faith.

I am originally from Trinidad 🇹🇹 (now living in Australia) and will send to my family who all support Pope Francis (whatever he says and does), they idolise the UN and believe whatever is woke and against Catholic teaching.
Orthodox here. The main Roman Catholic teaching is : You need to submit to the Roman Pontiff for your salvation (Unam Sanctam). The rest is susceptible to be modified by the Roman Pontiffs and were modified many times in History, even when it contradicted what previous popes used to teach. We orthodox are saying that this is a recipe for disaster for the last 1000 years. I won't go to all the theological details why here since no one needs to be a theologian judge the tree buy its fruits. And the fruits are not great, are they? We, on the other hand believe that orthodoxy is achieved not by following a single man but by being in communion with all of the saints Fathers and apostles since the beginnings and that innovations are extremely dangerous. There's no confusion. The blessing is not an affirmation of anything but an imparting of grace to strengthen to sin no more. FS is quite clear. You can even add the words at the end, "go and sin no more." You will be acting in the manner of Christ.
My Archbishop is making a career of supporting Francis' misconceived edicts, and, in the most brutal and contemptuous manner possible (in accord with the authoritarian agenda of Church progressives) has kicked out the priest from our Traditional Latin Mass community and is threatening to deprive us of our church building. Some comments here suggest their writers have taken his statement that he will not give blessings to same sex couples, probably because they misinterpret one of his latter points about not condoning sin. No RCC blessing condones sin. An easy example to clarify this is the blessing received after confession. Clearly the priest is not condoning whatever one has confessed.

Love and acceptance can make miracles of soul transformation, and Pope Francis' vision on the same-sex unions seems to be about love and acceptance. Yet, the same-sex couple blessing would make sense if the Church dumps viewing the same-sex relationship per ser as a sin. Without that, such a 'blessing' appears conflicting and self-contradictory. The entire issue of the homosexuality as such and the sin does not look straightforward at all. For example, some people refer to Leviticus 20:13: "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them". Does this mean that about 4% of human population should be now "put to death"? Would it be a proclaimed Christian way of love and acceptance? Would it be compatible with the words of our Lord: "Let He Who Is Without Sin Cast the First Stone" (John 8:7)? Apostle Paul in 1 Cor 6:9,10 was talking specifically about "men who have sex with men" with the intention to just satisfy their lust, but said nothing about homosexuality as such. The Holy Scripture condemns sexual lust in all its appearances - ‘traditional’ and ‘pervert’, but says nothing at all specifically about homosexuality and same sex people, who want to live together in love and faith. Pope Francis has repeatedly confirmed that marriage is between a man and a woman for the sake of procreation. He is saying Priests can give a blessing, but not of their union. Read the document on the official website of The Vatican, The Holy See. He is trying to save souls and bring everyone to Gods One True Apostolic Catholic Church, as God wants. Jesus Christ blessed sinners to get them to change their ways. Like, He blessed the woman who was about to be stoned to death for her sins. Jesus said whoever is without sin cast the first stone. The woman changed her life.
Please tell me why FS is very clearly written until it gets to Section III paragraph 31 when suddenly it’s not. One backer of FS said you have to read between the lines to understand it. Actually it was written with convoluted language on purpose to hide what it’s doing approving sin.

We must oppose and block...even remain deaf to any decisions of any clergy including bishops and popes who teach contrary to the Scriptures which is the traditio of the Church. We must simply refuse and grasp no one including clergy and pope must ever impose there opinions as doctrine and force or coerce others in God's Church to abandon or go along with incorrect teaching. No one.

What Archbishop Malzaire doing to minister to his homosexual priests? The 2005 study showed 52% of all Catholic priests were homosexual. How is he mercifully rehabilitating them? Do you know what he is doing to rehabilitate these priests? One site I contacted said it wasn't 52% anymore, there's a more recent study that said 54%.

Re: SSPX I always sort of shrink when I hear that society speaking like there are two levels in Catholicism... At 78, I lived through the Latin Mass, and came out of the Mass not having understood much in that language. I still love to reminisce about those good old days, but since Mother Church is a good mother; she decided that each faithful would be better served hearing the Mass in their own language... I immediately cheered that decision indeed. Please don*t tell me that back in those days that I was receiving Holy Communion in a more reverent way, as one grows in the love of receiving the Body, Blood Soul and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ps One should not even notice if others are receiving on the tongue or in the hand if one is concentrated on who one receives.

Where does FS say bless the person? The title of Section III Blessings of Couples in Irregular Situations and of Couples of the Same Sex doesn’t so where does FS say the blessing is for the individual.

There's no confusion. The blessing is not an affirmation of anything but an imparting of grace to strengthen to sin no more. FS is quite clear. You can even add the words at the end, "go and sin no more." You will be acting in the manner of Christ.
My Archbishop is making a career of supporting Francis' misconceived edicts, and, in the most brutal and contemptuous manner possible (in accord with the authoritarian agenda of Church progressives) has kicked out the priest from our Traditional Latin Mass community and is threatening to deprive us of our church building. As in so much of contemporary progressive bureaucracies, the ambitious and ego-driven will trample over anyone to get what they want.

Some comments here suggest their writers have taken his statement that he will not give blessings to same sex couples, probably because they misinterpret one of his latter points about not condoning sin. No RCC blessing condones sin. An easy example to clarify this is the blessing received after confession. Clearly the priest is not condoning whatever one has confessed.

The same-sex couple ‘blessing’ causes a number of questions.
What is a homosexual couple seeking by asking for a blessing?
What is the Church offering in response?
What is the Holy Spirit called for and what is exactly being blessed?
What is a spiritual purpose of such a ‘blessing’ and what sort of a particular help it intends to provide?
Love and acceptance can make miracles of soul transformation, and Pope Francis' vision on the same-sex unions seems to be about love and acceptance. Yet, the same-sex couple blessing would make sense if the Church dumps viewing the same-sex relationship per ser as a sin. Without that, such a 'blessing' appears conflicting and self-contradictory.
The entire issue of the homosexuality as such and the sin does not look straightforward at all.
For example, some people refer to Leviticus 20:13: "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them". Does this mean that about 4% of human population should be now "put to death"? Would it be a proclaimed Christian way of love and acceptance? Would it be compatible with the words of our Lord: "Let He Who Is Without Sin Cast the First Stone" (John 8:7)?
Apostle Paul in 1 Cor 6:9,10 was talking specifically about "men who have sex with men" with the intention to just satisfy their lust, but said nothing about homosexuality as such.
The Holy Scripture condemns sexual lust in all its appearances - ‘traditional’ and ‘pervert’, but says nothing at all specifically about homosexuality and same sex people, who want to live together in love and faith.
Nevertheless, this unlikely defends the incompatibility of the same-sex couple blessing with the current Church doctrines and policies.

Pope Francis has repeatedly confirmed that marriage is between a man and a woman for the sake of procreation. He is saying Priests can give a blessing, but not of their union. Read the document on the official website of The Vatican, The Holy See. He is trying to save souls and bring everyone to Gods One True Apostolic Catholic Church, as God wants. Jesus Christ blessed sinners to get them to change their ways. Like, He blessed the woman who was about to be stoned to death for her sins. Jesus said whoever is without sin cast the first stone. The woman changed her life.

Please tell me why FS is very clearly written until it gets to Section III paragraph 31 when suddenly it’s not. One backer of FS said you have to read between the lines to understand it. Actually it was written with convoluted language on purpose to hide what it’s doing approving sin.

We must do as Jesus Christ tells us, as the apostles tell us echoing Christ's words. Irish Catholics...all Catholics are not excused and no Pope can tell us otherwise by word, action or law. While it was undestandable Irish Catholics exagerated Papal prerogatives to counter Protestantism and the English plantation...it remains a naive exaggeration. We must place Christ and his apostles as faithfully communicated in the Scriptires first. We must oppose and block...even remain deaf to any decisions of any clergy including bishops and popes who teach contrary to the Scriptures which is the traditio of the Church. We must simply refuse and grasp no one including clergy and pope must ever impose there opinions as doctrine and force or coerce others in God's Church to abandon or go along with incorrect teaching. No one.
Mercy is based on truth otherwise mercy is a lie. The sinful is confusing. The Vatican under Pope Francis presents itself as merciful, racional, scientific. He uses every kind of manipulation and sophistry to introduce in the church blasphemy. That is a different church. A church for everyone that accepts the teachings of a secular world. Christ said my kingdom is not of this world, therefore they are working for the secular world. We can not serve two masters. We will not serve Christ. It’s time to expel the merchants from the Vatican.
What Archbishop Malzaire doing to minister to his homosexual priests? The 2005 study showed 52% of all Catholic priests were homosexual. How is he mercifully rehabilitating them? He can't claim his Archdiocese doesn't have any homosexuals, because that would be a dishonest claim with so many homosexual priests across the world. Do you know what he is doing to rehabilitate these priests? One site I contacted said it wasn't 52% anymore, there's a more recent study that said 54%.
What study is this? In the studies I've read homosexuals make up about 2-3% of the population. 52,54%? Don't think so.

Their level as being superior and holy (better dressed) and (better postures), and the Holy Catholic Church as being sort of irreverent... At 78, I lived through the Latin Mass, and came out of the Mass not having understood much in that language. I still love to reminisce about those good old days, but since Mother Church is a good mother; she decided that each faithful would be better served hearing the Mass in their own language... I immediately cheered that decision indeed. Please don*t tell me that back in those days that I was receiving Holy Communion in a more reverent way, as one grows in the love of receiving the Body, Blood Soul and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ps One should not even notice if others are receiving on the tongue or in the hand if one is concentrated on who one receives.
