Peach, Daisy, and Bowser Jr. have bombs they have use to help them make it. Byleth can use the up B on the wall to get more height or you could have sent Mario down to get catch by the up b to get him more height. Either way he could have made it.

Things you missed: Sheik can make it. After wall clinging, you can jump out of it and you're able to wall jump for more height. The same principle applies to Squirtle and Diddy Kong. Falco has a very high wall jump so he should be able to make the jump if you utilize correct timing. Zero Suit Samus can use her Flip Jump as an extra wall jump essentially, then she can double jump-wall jump- Up B. Bowser Jr. can make it if you follow the steps you did while holding a Mechakoopa for self damage. Cloud falls faster while he has limit so you could have timed it so he gets limit after he wall jumps for maximum height. Corrin can use her Pin as a wall jump. She probably can't make it but you could have tried. Joker has a wall jump. Hero has Zoom. Byleth has Up-B wall grab. Steve has blocks that are able to be used after the minecarts (they put him outside the radius where blocks can't be placed). I think that's everything you missed. This is an incomplete video but at least you made it with Banjo Kazooie Edit one year later (who care) I found that ZSS actually cannot make it, even with a tight wall jump; she has too much endlag after Down B for it to be effective. Sheik is a bit tricky but she can make it, albeit without Bouncing Fish. Corrin, to my knowledge, can't get enough height from her double jump to Pin the wall and jump from there. I know it’s kinda obvious how Steve has it easy when using blocks, but is relaxing to see him just casually put blocks to not fall into the void of death
This for reason reminded me of Break The Targets and Board The Platforms from Smash 64. I remember having difficulties traversing the levels with some of the characters, but they were loads of fun. 😅
Wii Fit could've gotten closer, by quickly using side B when moving under the structure, she could get higher from her jump. Mashing B while using her up special makes her go higher too. I'm not sure she could do it, but she can get closer.
Just a few things to say: Some characters like Rosalina can go higher if you hold back as they are about to go up with their recoveries, but don't be reverse it by mistake. Wii fit's recovery is lower with deep breathing because she becomes a fast faller and you can mash the recovery. Daisy, Peach, and Bowser Jr. have bombs to help them. Robin, if you time it right, can gain extra height by using his recovery with no book, and then again if you get his book. Sheik and Zero Suit Samus may be able to gain more height by using down b against the wall, (they can also hit Mario if you want to count that.) Hero can use zoom (if you feel like it is cheating because he goes to the other side then bonk your head beneath the T then recover. Byleth can grab the wall with his recovery then recover again. Finally, Steve may be able to use blocks. I may have missed something, but I think that is it.
Mr Game and watch can bucket fly. You just have to hold down B after your first jump and then hold it after the second. Finally you up b and he can make it.
For Wii Fit if you use deep breathing, it makes her heavier so her horizontal recovery will be lowered. If you rapid tap her up B recovery, she can recover higher.

You can mash the special button during Wii Fit trainer's recovery to increase its height. I believe they may have been able to make it if you had mashed, but I'm not sure.
