This 1959 classic song by Rodgers & Hammerstein has delighted me since I was a kid listening to Julie Andrews sing it in the movie "The Sound of Music". Through studies with the great Brian Keane I learned the way he and Larry Coryell would develop the harmony and improvise over the form. After many years of messing around with that on my own this solo guitar arrangement has developed into a real crowd pleaser at my solo shows.
