@@ks12253 yeah its very expensive because most sherwanis are handwoven or hand embroidered and tailored from top to bottom. Its intricate work and takes a lot of time and skill so its expensive and i think it gives out handicraft workers employment and keeps our culture and heritage alive so its not a big price to pay.

In my opinion, Satyam should've tried the anarkali wala sherwani because he's tall and lean and that outfit would've suited his physique perfectly. Kaustubh, however is short but has that grungy masculine charm so colors like pink and red compliment him very well - He looked extremely dapper in the bright red/orange mid range sherwani!!

_The sherwani evolved from a Persian cape (balaba or chapkan) and which finally developed into the sherwani, with buttons down the front, following European fashion. It originated in the 19th century British India as the European style court dress of regional Mughal nobles and royals of northern India, before being more generally adopted in the late 19th century. Originally worn by the Muslim aristocracy and regal heads, it appeared first at Lucknow in the 1820s. It was gradually adopted by rest of the royalty and aristocracy of Subcontinent, and later by the general population, as a more evolved form of occasional traditional attire. The name of attire is possibly derived from Sherwan, a region of present-day Azerbaijan due to the traditional dress of that area (Chokha) which resembles Sherwani in its outlook._
