I would say the basic foundation of trading is understanding Market Structure and Price Action. All the strategies be it SMC, ICT, S&D,S&R etc are basically a lens to view Market Structure and Price Action. So, if you don't understand these two one can never become profitable! Imagine trading Support and Resistance without understanding what is Market Structure or any strategy in that case 😂
